Do an ounce of research before posting crap like this.

That is an Auburn troll, not a real journalist

His ounce of research was taking a 30 second break from trolling on tRant to see that someone else created a thread about the exact same article there, and he ran here to post it as well.

I didn't even know they had posted that crap Captain Assgasket, until I posted here. I also posted that it was NOT true over there.once it had been debunked.
Get your facts straight before YOU post.

I'm not naive enough to think Oats couldn't be swayed for a top-tier job or an NBA gig, but he definitely ain't going to Maryland. That would be a huge step down and taking a step down isn't in Nate's personality.

I think Nate Oats would only leave Bama for the NBA

TAMU is certainly going to at least contact Nate Oats about their job opening. I don't think he'd go there, but he's one of their first calls I'm sure.

He's turned down Louisville, Kentucky, and Texas among others the past couple of years. He's not leaving for A&M.

This has been my opinion from the moment he started having success at Bama. If/when he leaves, it will be for the NBA.

Not so fast. He's from Wisconsin. Wisconsin is known for their dairy. Are we 100% Oats doesn't have a milkman fetish?

A friend of mine saw him at Bright Star last night - wearing Alabama gear.
Guys need to shut this shite down.

It’s more than money or status. He has already turned down Kentucky, the bluest blueblood, Texas, the biggest bankroll, and Louisville, another filthy rich bb school.
He just likes it at Alabama and as long as they are NIL competitive, they don’t even have to build him an arena like AU did for Pearl, he will likely be fine.
The NBA, falling behind with NIL, or possibly Mich State, idk, appear to be the only real threats. Alabama is a great place to coach.

Oats said, “Shoot. After taxes I make as much money each year as the average American makes in 37.5 years doing what I love. Why do I need more money?”

Michigan St is the only team I'd be worried about, and Izzo just turned 70. That would be one heck of a change in style though.
