This thread is hilarious now. Paul Tyson served his purpose (I guess, but at least I assume he’d never transfer). If Bryce got hurt he might throw one drive while Milroe gets prepped.

If Milroe sticks it out next year under Bryce, he could have a special year starting after him. Something to be said for waiting your time, developing in practice and mastering the system

Amazingly nonsensical posts in this thread. So evident people pontificating here never saw Bryce play in High School.
His coach ,who is a legend among SoCal HS coaches said he is the greatest QB he had coached and he had already coached 2 HeismanQBs.

Careful Cowboy or the Bryce Young Crimson Crew will take it out on you with downvotes. Prepare for the ONE play (pass) he made vs UK as evidence he is the man.

I sure hope he is the man.

Lol.

Milroe is going to have to compete for playing time with Ty Simpson in 2023. The loser transfers IMHO.

It’s amazing to think what the QB room has become under CNS starting with McCarron to be honest. He did win a few national awards plus 2 Natty’s as a starter.

Can we retire the phrases crimson crew or sunshine crew etc.? It's used almost exclusively by trolls when they're spouting ridiculous opinions and trying to excuse them.

I've seen Milroe. I'd bet on Simpson.

There are countless threads and posts from the last 3 months that could be bumped. People melted down unreasonably hard this season. Plenty of crow to eat on here.

Milroe isn’t going to make it here. Trust me. Imagine a Jalen Hurts type player with an even worse arm.

Confession

After reading Bryce’s scrimmage stats and witnessing a closed one personally, I was a little worried that Bryce would be a big step back from Mac

What do you mean “even worse arm?” Jalen had a mega cannon and was plenty accurate. Hurts’ biggest issues were leaving the pocket too soon and not letting taking downfield chances enough

Jalen struggled mightily in obvious passing situations - see 2016 Champ game against Clemson and 2017 Auburn

Yea but it had little to do with arm talent

I’m not making a projection of Milroe’s Bama career. But saying that he won’t work out at this point is even dumber than projecting him to be a Heisman winning Top 10 pick. And acting like he doesn’t have the physical tools to succeed at Bama is ridiculous

Being strong and having a good arm to play QB are 2 completely different things.
