Not sure if it's the same poster but a guy on another board with that username seems to be a huge Bryce Young fan.

I think River City Tider and Commander Data are posters here now. I haven't seen either of them dissing Young.

It was more in reference to those three going out of their way to ruin every thread they posted in by bashing hurts constantly whether that was the topic or not. It got old and this reminded me of that.

Milroe reminds me alot of Hurts coming in.

Hes better at sticking to the pocket, which is good But his long ball needs alot of work.
Basically, he has trouble hiring people in stride @ > 20 yards.

Tyson, I know nothing about.

Putting my money on Bryce with Milroe winning #2.

By the way, Milroe is a very dynamic runner who seems to be extremely quick. I heard 4.6, which surprised me. He seems faster than that and very illusive. But what I like about him is he limits his running and is dedicated to developing as a passer.

And he's smart.

Bryce is so talented. I think he needs a lot of work on ball security, But he is going to make a helluva lot of plays...

It is obvious that PTyson has really cleaned his mechanics up under Sark...With 2 years in he should be ready if needed.Hell THE TIDE did win a NATTY with a kid with some of the worse throwing mechanics this side of Justin Fields in Jacok Cokor!!...Fell asleep. 1-time while he was delivering the football

JMilroe is an Uber-Talented kid also. IT will take him awhile I do believe to transition to the college game.

Barker and George arent chopped liver..RTR!!!

I think Bryce will be fine. I'm more concerned about what happens if Bryce gets hurt and we're rolling with only Tyson and Milroe.

I wonder about looking at a transfer since they would be immediately eligible. You'd have to worry about younger guys transferring, but if Bryce gets hurt, we might be in real trouble.

I doubt UA takes a transfer QB. Kristian Story is a very good QB / insurance in case of QB injuries.

Pretty good article:

Oft-overlooked QB Paul Tyson 'can make any throw' on the field (BOL, July 14, 2020) ~ QB trainer Lavelle Durant is still working with Paul.

Bryce has 22 pass attempts. Tyson, Story and Milroe have zero. Let's hope Bryce doesn't get hurt.

Ty Shough was 106/167, 1559 yards, 13 TD and 6 INT and is available with three years of eligibility.

If we could get him, I'd take Ty over three guys who haven't played. Not trying to offend, but if Story was that good, he wouldn't be fighting for 3rd string quarterback. If he or Milroe really are that good, they will pass Ty on the depth chart, Ty can move on and it won't matter.

You have to think that Kristian Story will make a solid contribution in TitleTown before it is all said and done. At what position I do not know. I do know that the kid is highly skilled and athletic. I dont know if he took any snaps this past year or strictly played on the defensive side of the ball. Be nice to know what their plans are for him!...Takes some longer than others..Malachi Moores and Brian Branches dont turn up every year.

The only thing negative about BYoung is his size and hence his durability. It did not effect him In playing at the highest level in HS but we have to see how it translates to SEC. In all other aspects he is going to be dynamite QB. A great successor to Tua and Mac. I firmly believe that.

I think we are a tad spoiled by Freshman Tua in mop up duty

Well Grasshopper, I would guess that you were thinking Mac had no chance last year against such a legendary passer like Young...

I didn't say anything negative about Bryce. I think he will be great. My concern is if he gets hurts and who will replace him.

It's a valid concern, considering Bryce is the smallest QB we have (if I remember correctly, haven't seen the new guys numbers yet).

I get what he is “listed” as, but IRL he ain’t 6’0”. We have all had the conversation about his lack of height. Guess, we will just find out at the combine in a couple of years.
