I’m not worried about his height. I think he will tear it up, and I know of plenty “short” successful QB’s in the NFL. I merely pointed out that BY is not 6’0” and think it is funny.

I wish there was an app or a group that does analytics that would be able to show how successful old great qbs would have been in today's game. Would love to get a prediction on how Young, Marino, Montana, Cunningham, Stabler, etc would fare. It or anything really that could do a good job comparing the different eras and players would be really interesting to me.

As far as the qb battle, I think it depends on Bill O'Brien. If he installs an offense built around the qb that gives us the best chance to win (and I think he will), then I expect Bryce Young will be our starter. If he installs and offense and makes the QBs fit into a role, then it becomes more of a toss up. I would still think Young would win out, but that would give Tyson a better chance. Based on his high school offense, I think Milroe would have the hardest road in either case.

Agree as I caught a interview with Sark and he said the offense was a combination of what the last 3 OC's had laid ground work on..I would think that based on how well the returning offensive depth knows it inside out. That Bill O would just add a few of his wrinklies to it.But the main thing is Both qb's have gotten that playbook down at this point and they may want to just add off of that.

The Offense will HARDLY change at all. Why would it?..Will still be built on Misdirection,Counter,Power,Sweep,Levels concepts,Quicks, screens, and shallow/deeper Mesh...Along with RPO,Play-Action....CNS WONT fix what isnt broke...he will continue to work on TEAM,and hopefully stay healthy, which has cost us a Ring or 2 the last several years...IMO

His arm strength is irrelevant though, all he has to do is hand the ball to C-Tuddies

Eh, that was in '82. Granted, he could throw it over a mountain, but it's been a while

With the Simpson commit, the qb stable is looking pretty good for the future. He's 6'2" dual threat that chose us over clemson.

He hasn’t even played a meaningful snap and already the second string QB is the most popular player in the team.

I was talking about this earlier and going by past occurrences I think it's very premature to pencil in Bryce Young as the new starting QB.

We'd have beaten A&M with Tyson, and he would've won the Super Duper Heisman Trophy. Just sayin'.
