frick it, I'll say it, I'm psyched, and can't wait for Spring camp.
Before this thread turns into another "Milroe sucks" thread, yes, let's assume he moves on.
So with that said, we've got an awesome QB competition to look forward to, with Keelon arriving on 1/6.
The RB and WR rooms are getting some much needed reinforcements (curious to see if AK and Brooks can crack the lineup as Freshmen).
And we also have some stud OLs arriving on campus.
On defense, we have some new LBs already on campus, a new DT from JUCO that looks like a monster, and a bunch of the Freshmen DBs played extensively this year, so they should be even better next year.
Specialists are a question mark, but man, the rest of the roster is looking pretty fricking good.
Spring and Fall camps are going to be very entertaining.

Agree assuming there is growth in the QB room, returning 4/5 OL and the majority of the defense who was very good this year come mid season I’m excited to see what happens.

Defense looked good today even with a lot of 2s on the field. With the talent we’re bringing in, Bama should be able to make a run next season. Georgia, SC, and Auburn (just because) will be the tough road games.

I agree. I'm excited to see if Milroe really was the problem or if DeBoer swindled us.

After watching his HS film, I'd be fine with that. He had a ridiculous weapon in Moore in HS, but his weapons at Bama are even better.
Bottom line, as disappointing at this season was, next season is going to be really fricking interesting.

I know it's a joke, but it stood out to me how unathletic Mbakwe looked today. After all the shite that kid pulled, I was expecting much more.

Idk. The one pass Milroe threw him he caught it even though it was 54 yards out of bounds.
#7 needs to be prioritized on defense as far as NIL. He balled out yesterday, though.

Agreed. He may he the guy I thought K.Law was. I admit to being on that bandwagon. He just showed brilliant ability in flashes. Maybe Rico is that guy. He looked great on the end around/jet sweep. Definitely needs touches.

In his defense, he's had what, a handful of practices at WR now? He "wasted" a year at CB, and came out of HS as guy who was used at QB to have him touch the ball every snap. Improper/inexperienced technique can nullify athleticism.
This is where Jamarcus Shephard will make his money. Year 2 with Ryan Williams as well, he hit that freshman wall when people started pressing.
I'm excited, and always will be. New players, new playmakers, new opportunities, and hell, maybe some new coaches. This season was a punch square in the teeth, and hopefully they'll grow from it.
