A little misleading from what I read the state still has to sign off before it will happen.

quote:

The seven-member council voted in favor of the license, which now must be approved by the state of Alabama’s alcoholic beverage control board

Maybe they know they will already.

At UNC the lines have been 45 minutes to an hour for the few games I have been to. Not to mention 2 beers per person/ID. So if you come up with another person both better have their ID

2 More University of Alabama Athletic Venues Greenlit for Alcohol Sales

Fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide Baseball and Softball teams will soon be able to enjoy alcoholic beverages as a part of the home game experience after the Tuscaloosa City Council approved two new alcohol licenses for their facilities Tuesdays.

There's a guy that sells crack way up in the shadows of the rafters.

In the event you change your mind, plan accordingly:

“Per SEC regulations, alcohol sales will end at the 12-minute media timeout in the second half.”

this is waaaaaay off topic but figured I'd just slip it in here rather than clutter up a different thread or start a new one.

My wife used to love a restaurant in tsucaloosa that was on the river but it doesn't exist anymore or it's closed. The last few times we've been there we've gone to River which I think was a close replacmenet (maybe same ownership?) to the other one and we really like that one a lot. I have zero isues going back to River because of how much we like it, but if we wanted to branch out are there any other similar restaurants you can recommend? On the water is cool but not necessarily a deal breaker.

Can you blame them? Our dumbasses stay asleep and keep electing them. They'll take what we give, and we just don't care.

God I'm with you, though. I hate government so much.

Didn't they mean case instead of can?

I think it was originally Wintzell’s (which moved to Northport and ultimately closed) then became River landing or something like that. I don’t believe anything is there at present.

Chuck’s Fish gets good reviews (haven’t eaten there so I’m going by what I’ve heard). It’s in downtown Tuscaloosa

Cypress Inn maybe?

You are the only person I’ve ever heard say this. River is super overrated.

Chuck’s Fish is the best restaurant in town, bar none. Sushi, fresh fish, pizzas, steaks.

If you’re not into that, Depalma’s (Italian) is great too. Both are downtown.
