Really strange, I bought tickets for this game in early October through stubhub.. Stubhub sends me an email October 30th saying the game time has been changed to 7:30 Local Time Start. Yet It still appears that this game is being played at 8:30. Complete transparency, I was actually really happy thinking it had moved to 7:30 PM.

Got an email tonight from the CM Newton Classic that all remaining tickets are on sale for $20. That’s a steal for a game like this.

Hey, good news. We have tickets to a top 10 match up for $20. Bad news, you have to go to Birmingham.

Anyone selling any tickets in here? I had a job initially but now I’m free.

Really pitiful we can’t sell the place out for this. #1 team in the country, elite eight type game and we gotta put tickets on sale for $20? Yikes.

Lots of casual Tide Hoops fans though, so can’t say I’m surprised. I’ll be there and ready to bring some energy.

If you want more people to show up, don't start the game at 8:30pm. Pretty reasonable.

Well they are playing a west coast team. That's a tv thing.

It is if you don't live in Bham.

Disappointing ticket sales for sure. Zero buzz in Bham for the game. I’ve been look forward to it for a while. Would prefer a 4:30 tip to an 8:30 tip though.

8:30 is late man, I know a lot with younger kids that are sitting this one out due to the time.

I said frick it last night and and bought tickets. I'm gonna drive over from Mobile in a couple hours.

Since Birmingham is so spoiled, it would be cool if we played a neutral court game in Huntsville or Mobile (after the new civic center is finished). I bet those cities would support it well, since it's rare we get those opportunities. The turnout when we played at South Alabama was very good.

Bham arena holds 18,000.

We don’t even have a thread on this site about the game. And whether you like it or not, tomorrow morning is Sunday morning and that is important to many people in this state.

FYI - Bama plays Kennesaw State in Huntsville on Sunday, Dec 21st. Tickets through Ticketmaster.

More info available here

Tickets for the Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Kennesaw State Owls men's basketball game are available for the Rocket City Classic on December 21, 2025, at the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL,

I forgot we had that one this season. That's a great schedule. Very similar to us playing at USA, except a charity game. The more we can play in different areas of the state, the more it helps grow the fan base and interest.

Valid point, but it has never stopped them from going to an 8 pm kick at BDS where you are lucky to get back in your car before midnight.

Those arenas probably hold half or less than half of the BJCC. Even Auburn.
A sell out of the BJCC is equal to 2 Auburn gym sell outs. Tuscaloosa is one and a half of the barns little gym.

It’s also Christmas party season. Everybody and their brother are having office parties or some kind of get together.

Meh, there are over a million people in the greater Birmingham area. Tuscaloosa is less than an hour away. We are playing the number 1 team in the country and we’ve been a top 5 program overall the last couple of years.

Birmingham has to be the world record holder for making excuses for bad turnouts. Happens with the Stallions. Happens with UAB, happens with everything. We all want stuff to do, we just don’t want to actually do it.
