It also would help us if OSU blew out Indiana.

Honestly, do we look like a Top 12 team that deserves a shot at the national title?

The committee said outright that they initially put us below ND because of our poor rushing offense and performance and then put us above them because we did better rushing the ball against Auburn on the road.

We just had NEGATIVE 3 yards rushing and Georgia only had 3 sacks. NEGATIVE 3 and our QB had a QBR of 20.

They've already said they value how a team is currently playing and offensive performance. We weren't this bad just because a RB who wasnt playing well and our TE were out hurt.

Shouldn't matter. Getting penalized for playing an extra game and rewarded for sitting on your arse at home is a horrible precedent to set.

And they moved us above ND because a team shouldn’t be penalized for losing a meaningless game.

We got moved for them to put us in the playoffs. Plain and simple.

They figured we keep it close to make it easy.

Now they have to look like assholes to put us in.

I knows it beating a dead horse but I just can't get over how bad this offense has become. Ty is hurt, bad coaching, untalented/soft players I don't know what exactly it is but it's bad.

If we beat FSU and lose to UGA, we would’ve been locked without playing an extra game.

All these talking heads talking about how BOTH Miami and ND should be in over Bama make me laugh. The conference championship is an extra credit game. Last time I checked, neither Miami or ND made a Conference Championship Game. Why weren't these people saying it after the Auburn game? If they said it last week, I'd understand. I would disagree, but I'd understand if they said "look, Bama played like total crap and needed Auburn WR's doing everything possible to hand them the game on a silver platter just to win, so we're moving them behind both Miami and ND." But they didn't do that. So why wait until now to trash Bama? What a bunch of hypocrites these talking heads are.

They'll swap us and Notre Dame. It will be Texas A&M > Alabama, ND > OU

That's basically it

Apparently our offense felt it was meaningless too

We are not making the playoffs after this game. The debate is which bowl we get.

Hope you’re right. Making the playoff is a positive move despite what we saw today.

The day a #1 seed SEC team going into a conference championship game and misses the playoffs is the same day conference championship weekend dies.

Which wouldn't be the worst thing. Vandy vs. Miami and ND vs. BYU for play-in spots would have been so much more fun to watch.

Either way, for right now - we're in. Sankey will blow this shite up if not.

How bad did we beat Georgia in the sec championship that year we had to rematch when we lost 2021 ?

Very good point but I feel like this committee will be swayed by the national media, which is all saying Bama should be out.
