What are our chances of landing Elam

Info about Elam's recruitment: (others feel free to add)
-The good news in Elam's recruitment is that he says he talks with our staff more than anyone else. Lance Thompson is his main recruiter.
-he is coming this weekend to the UK/Bama game
-says he is looking at the atmosphere moreso than whether or not KY wins. Says that he likes how hard Stoops is working on turning around the program.
-has been to UK Sept. 14 and Sept. 28
-As of now, we get the last official visit (Dec.20)
I would put this battle at 60/40 UK IMO

Hopefully we blow them away early and not have a situation like Tenn-UGA, where they lose but take some stupid moral victory because the fans were excited.
We put them away early, the stadium will die out and he'll face reality quicker.

I do think its silly in some recruits minds how taking any program from a D to a C is somehow better than Bama's dynasty. Especially Elam and the ilk, its crazy that guys like Chad Jones didn't have the same reaction to Saban's hire.

Speaking of Lance Thompson, he hasn't had the run in recruiting like his first tenure under Saban at Alabama.

I don't think he's relied upon as the go-to guy like he was before because we now have some others to help shoulder the load

Pretty sure he used to also be fatter.
If I was Saban I would order him to gain 20+ just to make Elam feel more at home (this is after I changed the waterfall to a chocolate fall (ala Golden Corral)).

The biggest thing to come out of the Nuggets is that Christian Miller may be strongly considering UGA again.
His mom has not been to campus yet, so getting her in on a visit will be huge. They should be visiting soon... both officially and unofficially.

Jesus Christ. I know we recruit committed kids (like we did with Miller), but why do kids keep committing when it's apparent they haven't completely made up their minds yet?
This is why I don't get frustrated with guys who decide to take their time like Marlon, LC, and others because I would rather them do that than commit and have to hear about them strongly considering a different school every weekend.
