I thought it was pretty obvious that MH "deciding" meant he was deciding whether to come to the game or not, I never thought it had anything to do with announcing.

OM defense did look good. Nonetheless I think Hampton seeing a true freshman defensive back starting for us had to be encouraging for him. A lot of people unfairly stereotype Bama by saying if you go there, then you will ride the pine. Talented recruits who are looking for playing time can make significant contributions to our team.

You guys are unbelievable when it comes to giving guys the credit they deserve IMO. He liked seeing a freshman start for us? I agree it looked good but that's all ESPN talked about for them was RN and the safety that are freshman. Hate that they didn't talk about A,Shawn at all. How the hell didn't you notice RN in the backfield all night. Saw him put Cyko on his arse one play jesus. Just give the kid credit.

Probably would've been different watching on TV but I was at the game and didn't really notice RN either. Not saying he didn't play well, but his play didn't jump out

I mean, it isn't like Ogre can go into a kid's living room and pitch SC at this point. Everyone knows he won't have the interim tag removed. Their recruiting is basically going to be put on hold now with the exception of the kids who just grew up dreaming of playing for SC and will go there no matter who the coach is.

Im getting that feeling as well...kid just seems like he wants to blaze his own trail and not follow in his dads foot steps.

It's because the D staff pretty much played him inside to help stop the run, he had a few QB hurries where he got to AJ and the ball was gone one in particular he got a pretty good hit on AJ and forced a bad throw. He also ran down a few plays on the backend that I noticed nothing really stood out but you can still see his athleticism. Tony Conner still stood out though he's a damn beast
