Davion Hall(as a WR)
i know they may be telling this kid he will get a shot at WR, but i find it is going to be hard to flip CJH and if that doesn't happen i think this kid will end up at safety. i also find it hard to believe we will settle just for the kid from Georgia at safety and play Hall at WR... After last years disappointment at safety.

No way Williams is the only safety we sign this year after only signing 1 over the last 2 years (I'm not counting Miller). I've gotta believe we'll get 1 out of Clark, Hampton, & Hootie with Davion Hall getting 1st look at WR

I don't think it's gonna be that hard to get Hampton, good friends with Robinson too. He missed his visit a month ago, but I don't think there was much to it.
Receiver is a mystery still in quantity and identity, no one really knows what will go down there at this point.
Hall's longterm future may be at DB, but I think he'll get the choice like every other athlete. He has said Bama is the only team he'll play defense for, but he likes the position of WR more.

I know most of us realize that we need corners in this class and rightfully so. We all hope Marlon comes home to be the centerpiece of the class. However, Kalvaraz Bessent is no one to sleep on. He didn't attend any camps so there haven't been many stories on him since he committed.
A few weeks ago one of the national 247 writers posted something on him that I'm trying to track down. I've asked Charles Powers to help me locate it. Hopefully he can find it faster than me and I'll bring it here.

Yeah...everyone assumes he is ours to lose because we are Alabama and they are Kentucky, but he lives an hour away from their campus and apparently spends every other weekend there. I'd say we have a 25% chance of getting his signature. It would probably be more like 80% if he hadn't bought the BS their staff is selling him about playing fricking 5 technique for them. He weighs 360 pounds. The only thing he is playing on D is nose in a 3-4.

I know Kalvaraz is a great player but I believe we need Marlon to really bolster the secondary for the next few years. We're pretty solid at LB, QB, WR & RBs for awhile. Not much need to recruit hard at those positions.
