LOL!!! The Bama guy pretty much nailed my reaction... I kept telling my folks he was picking Auburn, then lost it when he announced his decision...

He's still trying to find convenient times for Bama and UF, Michigan is getting one for the Michigan-Notre Dame game...

Wonder how heavy we are on Mosely anymore. Is he still a take?

We wanted him at guard IIRC. If so, I can't believe he would still have a committable offer.

GTFO with that shite. He was a redshirt freshman. We have held on to many kids who haven't developed after a year.
It's a business,I'm glad Saban runs it like one. I wish the guy was even more cutthroat and ruthless

And what makes you think I care anymore about that than Saban cutting some meathead jock from the team?
If truth be told I don't really care about that either. It's entertainment, not a way of life.
But fans that think at this point, that it's anything other than a business and a lucrative one at that, are naive to dangerous levels.

I know reality is hard for you to understand sweetie. Why don't you go back to Castle Grayskull and take a nap and maybe you'll feel better.

I am tired of taking commits from guys that Rivals/247/ESPN/Scout hadn't wrote a single article about until they committed to us. They never contribute and end up either riding the bench for four years or get hurt. Why take/recruit the Jon Acthisons/Caleb Gulledge/Cole Mazzas/ of the world. Sure we recruit great but seriously every cycle since the 08 cycle we lost momentum by signing day with some really elite prospects who have gone on the dominate college football and grab attention.
If you are going to take an idiot like Caleb Gulledge why not just take Denzel Nkemdiche.
I know its being very picky, but guys like Robert Quinn, Jadaveon Clowney, Robert Nkemdiche, were all certain locks for long stretches of their recruitments to ultimately commit to shite programs.
Don't get me wrong we sign great great talent, but for the most part we still aren't signing the "Award Winners" ie the Clowney's. By now it seems the bluest of the blue chips would be jumping on board but they start choosing absolute shite programs. I would love to land one legitimate recruit while Saban is here that the pundits can't say well "Recruit X that signed with Bumfrick you is better". It was that way with Julio, Mark, Trent, Courtney, now Allen etc.
Maybe Saban doesn't want to land "that guy" but then why does he recruit them only to fall off short?
And before the Saban has a planners start swarming, yes our D's have been above average post 2008 but even with guys like Dareus, and Upshaw on to guys like Dial and Square our Pass rush has been non existant to mediocre. Seriously would not a Robert Quinn, a Jadaveon Clowney, a Robert Nkemdiche had made a big difference?

Good God man. We've won 3/4 national titles, what kind of difference are you asking for?
Posted on 8/5/13 at 1:49 am to GumpinAintEasy
Who said that? Its not either fire/worship Saban. Obviously Saban is a great recruiter and a great defensive coach. Why aren't we signing the great pass rushers? Even in our national championship years we haven't had anyone that is a consistent sack producer. Even Dareus disappeared for stretches.
