Do we have a firm number we are signing this year?

I think it will be a full class.

Michigan drives me crazy with this bullshite. They need to do some processing.

Should be 25 not counting Bozeman who is now effectively back in the '13 class

Man, if that's true, just how many QBs do we need?

That's what I find interesting about it too. Appears we wanted at least 1 more in Brewer or Park

That suggests that Nuss/Saban are not happy with what is behind AJ and why Morris came out of Spring as the top option if AJ goes down.

Great theory indeed bro... And like T Rey mentioned, the flirtation with Brewer is a bit scary. Hope someone steps up from that group of young QB's.

I think we have all known for a while that Sims was never going to be a starter, but it seems flat out retarded to write off the 3 freshmen after one spring. It's shitty QB evaluation if they suddenly realized they wasted 2 scholarships a couple of months after NSD.

I think we'll find out really quick in 2014 how good Nuss is at QB evaluation and development. It will his baby at that point.

I don't know, but I think he's going to stick around longer than McElwain. Mac had job offers and interviews every offseason he was at Alabama. I don't know if there was one leak this past offseason about him being pursued. Though I'm sure he will eventually go back West for a head coaching job.

How long was Mac here? 4 years? I would be shocked if Nuss is here that long.

I wouldn't. He's young and he has great job security, just like Kirby. He can sit back and wait for the right job to be offered to him. That might happen this offseason or 5 years from now.

He was in more demand when he came than Mac. I think the right job comes calling this off season.

Last year was Nuss's first year of being "The Guy" from an offense standpoint in bigtime football. At Washington he had the title but not the authority. One year is not enough to establish history to get the offers. After this season with the tools he has, the offers could well start coming in. Then he gets to start choosing how big of a ship he wants to be the captain of or how much he enjoys the spoils at Alabama without the pressure of being the top man.
