Excited about this commit! How many more linebackers do you see us taking in this class? Where does that leave us with guys like LC or Raekwon?

Smith does have some size on Pierschbacher, who was measured at 6-3 on campus.
Iowa is convinced/has convinced him that he can move out to Tackle after learning the system at Guard. They've got a pretty successful precedent, so they could be genuine...

Piersbacher would be a great addition I guess. How long is Iowa going to pay $3.6 to Kirk Ferentz? The writers picked them fifth in their division, only ahead of Minnesota. Heck Iowa St. seemingly has a better future than Hawkeyes.

I'm guessing the Iowa program has pretty low standards, the fanbase and local press heavily defended him when Stewart Mandel recently called him one of the top 5 worst coaches right now.
He runs a system that gets players into the NFL, especially OL, but not much else. He blips a 10 win season enough to stick around....

I think we get both Chef and Zo. We miss on our safety prospects though.

You think we'll miss on all our S targets? That would really blow. I think we'll get Hall and Clark. Hootie will go to LSU and Hampton will stick with OM.

Safety is a position of need this class and the lack of safety underclassmen on our roster should be appealing. I think we land 2 of the mentioned targets to go along with Williams
