I could see him coming in like gangbusters next May and bumping Austin Shepherd to RG. Not necessarily for something Shepherd did wrong, but because he's practiced there and the recurring rumor of displeasure with what's currently at Guard depth wise.

Jackson seems to be the inverse of Leon Brown on film, doesn't look like he struggles at runblocking at the POA...

DJ Fluker showed effort can overtake technique in value in play, save for the WKU game.

Enrolling early would do him some good, but he looks farther along than Brown did. I maintain the belief though that Brown wasn't intended as a starter year one, but as help in the LT situation in '14...

Yeah...assuming Cyrus goes pro the LT depth is gonna be rough in '14. We might end up with a true freshman starter and a first year starter at QB. Not a great formula.

He tweeted something a few days back about Bama recruiting him the hardest and is apparently pretty open about his favorite on the camp circuit.

Last I had read though he was still planning all his officials and then a commitment. Could have changed...

He's good insurance at the very least.
