sooo......special teams and quarterback play have cost us a game each of the last 2 years. He doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to those because he keeps Bobby Williams on staff and has issues bringing in top tier qbs

Because that's exactly what I'm saying. This is the same guy that yells at EVERYONE to do it right every time. Every play right, sell out every game even a day and w Carolina, etc. So I can't ask the same of him. He's great. He's the best...maybe of all time. Doesn't make him perfect. He had flaws. I won't be blind to them

Get the frick out of here with that bullshite. Hell no you cant demand anything from Nick Saban. What do you mean he doesnt get top tier QBs. Maybe they didnt pan out but P. Sims, Star Jack, A.J., and Cooper Bateman were all top 10 QBs in their class. Not to mention we had a elite 11 QB walk on last year. You better remember where we were at before he got here before you start trying to bad mouth CNS.

Oh jeez. Just because we were terrible before hiring him doesn't make him immune from any and all criticism. Our special teams have been goddamned pathetic just about every year under Saban. That is a just a fact. Whether it is FG kicking, kickoff coverage, punt returns, or some combination of those...we have always had a huge achilles heel on ST every year. So yeah, I am going to be skeptical of pretty much any decision made in that arena.

You are right but to say he is wrong because of offering a kicker is bullshite. At the end of the day you being a skeptic of what he does means nothing at all. Actually I do think that he is immune to any of our criticism. Nobody has a perfect team but we have the closest thing to it. Just dont really understand what the hell you want out of him.

Personally I like the punter addition. Looking back at 2008 SEC championship, Florida's Chad Henry put Bama in a hole all day long. Too much hang time for Arenas get loose. And whether you like him or not, Brad Wing did it to Bama often as well.

I agree with Sandkhan and Robot Santa - this "fill need" or "fit" class is a steaming pile of shite (along with our non-walk-on special teams over the past few years - we should have known Hayes was going to be a problem when he couldn't wait to hit someone).
We will not take Saban resting on his laurels (and I don't even know what a laurel is - that's just how serious I take this shite).

Hopefully, this is the turn-around.
Also, I don't think Saban is above reproach. He has his weaknesses just like any other coach. Hell, I'm actually of the belief that the movement toward HUNH in CFB is going to be his version of the down Coach Bryant years. I guess we can just wait for whatever is going to be for him what the '71 wishbone was for Coach Bryant.
