Should have booted him when he jumped offsides against aTm.

If we could just nab DC, LF (though Roc would be fine if we can't flip LF), Cam Robinson, Marlon, and Raekwon, it'd be fine. But as of right now it feels like the only top tier commit we have is Bo. It's really early yeah, but still.

I think we handle hurry up teams pretty well. Our secondary wasn't very good last year was the issue with it, we just didn't play a lot of good quarterbacks who could make us pay.

I loved last years class because if the depth of talent. This years class is nearly half full and it's half full of jackasses.

You guys should not drink and post. You do realize we could just take this class off, not get a single recruit, and still have more talent 2 years down the road than all but about 3 teams? Too bad you geniuses haven't been calling the shots the last few years or we might have won some....

It is perfectly okay to not be a sunshine pumping koolaid drinker. They still let us go to games, buy shite, and have an opinion.

not losing your shite over a punter = being a koolaid drinker

Nah. But, the good (and bad) part about being a UA fan is that we have all kinds...

It probably is a bit premature to judge a class in June that isn't even half full yet. Also there tends to be an overreaction every summer. Last year everyone was freaking out because Burns, Dodd, and Reuben flipped. In the end, we almost always have an awesome class.

This is true. I remember it was around this time last year it started seeming like Nkemdiche wasn't coming, Foster had flipped, etc. But we also had physical freaks like Allen and OJ on board. Bo is a freak. Whitley is Mosley 2.0 so that's good. I like Vienna Sausage Telemondo. Bessent is cool. I dunno. I just hope we finish strong. Hump, another cb I don't want to jinx, a bad arse lt, Cornwell and please Christ an elite pass rusher and I'll be good to go. But I still don't think this class will have that depth of talent I love. There are maybe 3 players in all of last class I'm not super stoked about.

Still. Our level of program should not be offering specialty players scholarships until they earn the job. No kicker should ride the pine on scholly.

I'll take Saban's opinion on who to offer scholarships over anyone's on this board. Have a little faith guys, the man knows what he's doing.

If we had as good a punter as Brad Wing, we would have won 9-6. I do not blame him for going out and locking down the best punter in the class.

Supposedly we're in good shape for Carter. But then again those top guys always seem to flake out on us for whatever reason so who knows.

That's fine, but you also must acknowledge that it's been our weakness. Every year, every insider swears up and down that elite recruit x wants to come on board but we don't have room because we've taken a kicker or snapper. Then every year people defend that decision, mentioning the importance of special teams. But our scholarship kickers ride the pine while walk ons start. That sucks for them too, because they should have the scholarship. But our ST evals are obviously not good just judging by history. That can't be argued.

So either fire BW and hire someone who can judge/develop these kids or say frick ST and stop offering scholarships and hope you get good walk ons.

in the infamous words of the recently department....."ccccannnt we a llllll jjjjjjjjust get alllllong."

That being said. In NS I Trust and 3 NC in 4 years shows me he has the program where most side walkers and alums expect it to be. Matter of fact we only have 15 NC in about 120 years of playing FB so that does not average out to be 3 out of 4. So with that being said I think NS has us ahead of schedule. He coaches another 7 years and we get 2-3 more he will be synonymous with the all time great coaches in CFB history. Kapish. O and I am a side walker..carry on.

Definitely not impressed by this punter. 37 yard average in Colorado?

He punted "live" for our coaches this week in Tuscaloosa. We'll be fine.

And Elisha Shaw says we are tied at the top with Ole Miss and Georgia.

I'm guessing once tOSU took that Aussie kicker, that opened the door for the kid from Colorado. Hopefully, either him or the Mexican can come in and do well. Mandel has developed into a good one but it took a couple years for him to get there. It'd be nice to have a guy who can boom it 1st year like a lot of other SEC teams seem to have

And here's some good news. Apparently Ermon Lane was telling fellow prospects at the Rivals camp that he's likely headed to Bama

Class of 2014 Recruiting MEGATHREAD sooo......special teams and quarterback play have cost us a game each of the last 2 years. He doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to those because he keeps Bobby Williams on staff.

I really want to know what Bobby does because he doesn't coach ST's!
