BOL is going to have Recruiting Nuggets after lunch.

And Charles Mosley is basically ours.

BOL Recruiting Nuggets are up:

-Stephen Roberts may commit tomorrow after a planned phone call with Kirby
-Alabama is the clear team to beat for Cornwell and the offensive staff is going to Oklahoma to watch him throw during the Spring evaluation period
-Zach Whitley apparently has UA #1 ahead of ATM
-Looks like the ship has sailed with Andrew Brown
-Some sources feel we lead for Cam Robinson
-Jacob Pugh is likely heading to FSU
-Elisha Shaw is constantly decked out in UA gear

Ermon Lane news:

quote:

ALABAMA: “Alabama is number one right now and that is all you really have to say about them. They have won three championships in the last four years and that stands out. They are probably the top program in the country right now. The campus is beautiful and the coaches are great as well.”

quote:

He likely won’t announce his commitment until National Signing Day.

“I am going to make all my official visits before I make any decision,” Lane said. “It is going to be a while before I make a commitment.”

Whitley stuff has been floating for a while, has been said he wanted to leave the state. And I know several Longhorn analyst thought of Bama as his leader previously.

Hamilton(M), Whitley(W), and one of Gavin Bryant or Vincent Jackson Jr. Possibly both of the latter, especially if Bryant is a S&P.

Ahem, a recap of Bones' insider notes:

* Whitley is the top prospect for WILL.
* Cam Robinson is the #1 overall prospect for Bama.
* Robinson's and Ronnie Clark's family spent a lot of time together over the weekend.
*Ronnie Clark is considered a top 2 prospect instate by several staff members(#1 being Humphrey)
* Trending upward with Tony Brown.
* They still want to see Cornwell in camp.
* Stephen Roberts will pop soon.
* Staff wanted Charles Mosley to commit, yet he held off. They want him back at camp, and see him more as an OL prospect right now.
* SDH is gonna be a huge recruiter for the class.
* Sharieff Rhaheed is probably gonna flip.
* John Curtis(LA) LB Kenny Young and S Mattrell McGraw need to come back to camp for "legit" offers.
* OL Bailey Granier higher on the board positionally, Hootie Jones lower on the board positionally.
* Davon Godchaux, who lists Bama as one of his top schools, needs to camp June 15th for an offer.
* WR Dom Booth isn't a take, needs to come back to camp.
* Only 2-3 WRs being took; Lane, Sims, and D'hquille Williams are higher priority.
*Staff split on pushing for Roc Thomas.

Is Cornwell the answer? Looking to 2014, it seems like it will be:

1. Morris
2. Bateman
3. ???

We need a good QB so badly

Obviously you want a good QB each class but it's hard to say we need one badly when we have no idea what Morris, Bateman and others will do. IDC how good Cornwell looks in high school, if we're starting a true freshman we're screwed

This Roc business is pissing me off. We're not getting LF so go ahead and push for Roc

I would love that, just to see TD crash and Les Miles on the hotseat.

I just don't see it happening. The kid will probably get death threats if he commits to us.
