A lot of confusion out there re: SEC scenarios for @AlabamaMBB. This should clear it up

We’re currently 2.5 games ahead of Arkansas with 3 games left

A win OR Arkansas loss, #Alabama will clinch the regular season title

There is no scenario for a share

What would you guys do to get things going?

I think I would start JQ or Ellis over Shack Saturday

I would be a fan of JQ starting. He’s been playing much better the past two weeks. I really think COVID must have taken a toll on him and possibly taken 1+ month for him to get back to normal.

ETA: I wouldn’t mind Ellis starting either. Maybe JQ, Ellis, Petty, Herb, and Bruner.

Oats has said starters aren’t as important as who’s on the court during crunch time, BUT the way we start slow during losses tell me he may want to rethink that.

Seems every game the past month we have started slow, not just the losses

I wonder if Byrne had a talk with the commissioner today?

Yeah we start slow and lethargic then have a late run, in which we don't finish (if it's a top 25 team).

We really need to sort this out...

We need to get more from Primo. He disappears sometimes. But when he has a good game we win big.

I only watched segments of the game last night as I was tied up, just saw the stats and it was 43 free throw attempts to 8? Is that accurate? I know and have long said that college basketball officiating is the worst in American (and perhaps global) sports, but how in the blue frick does 43-8 happen?

One thing I noticed is that when Herb scores under 10 we struggle, when he scores over 10 usually we have a great game.

From the Start of SEC play til the Miss St game when he got injured, he scored over 10 six out of eight games and was averaging 13 points per game.

Since the Miss St game he has gotten under 10 points in six out of eight games and is averaging 8 points per game.

He has gotten under 10 in all 3 of our recent losses.

His defense hasn't been as good since his injury either of course, and he has been fouling a lot more.

We usually go as Herb goes, he is our MVP. Getting him back 100% and playing like he was pre injury is key for our postseason hopes.

Yea it was bad. I get mad at my players if they complain about umpires, refs, etc but last night was as bad as I have seen... no shooting fouls in the whole second half with 11”clean” blocks for ARKY

Been 23 hours and no repercussions for the refs and none forth coming. Got our arse whipped. Move on.

12 and 9 Michigan State with back to back wins over Illinois and Ohio State. The mighty Big 10.

So neither Ohio state or Illinois dropped at all from losing to Michigan State?

Yep, if we beat Arkansas we would have moved up to #4 and would be a #1 seed.

Crazy how if we could only make a layup late in games we would be 21-3.
