I think Saturday is a pretty huge game for this group. It will be easy to go over there with no energy and start slow again.
Or, we can realize that we have 2 games with all our guys back at 100% to get back in sync and ready for tournament play. Not to mention winning a conference championship.
We really need to put together 2 (or 3) solid, 40 minute games before the conference tournament.

Dude has been the heart of the team with Herbs injury. Just sucks to see his night end that way. Then, all of the piggies yelling at him.

One thing I think you can do is have the AD on the phone with the powers that be and say this is BS. That has to happen.

I don't blame Petty one bit! We didn't play defense good at all...Primo (Ball Watching)...our rebounding was horrible at times and sometimes our decision making wasn't where it needed to be! Petty screamed at multiple guys on defense to get on the right people throughout the game so the other players need to play with an attitude now!

I would be pretty surprised if we don’t go into Saturday playing with a major chip on our shoulder. I’m not saying that will translate into a beat down, but I think the attitude will be there.

I think some of our guys wanted to win today too badly and it threw them off their games. We are not used to winning championships in basketball. We somehow win this year ,next year it will be much easier if we get the chance again.

Gotta learn how to just stay in your game and keep doing the things that got you in the position to win instead of trying to overextend. We will get there, in Oats I trust.
