I think something that will get overshadowed but I’ll harp on until I’m blue in the face is that when we went on the quick spurt to start the 2nd half, Arkansas immediately called timeout and composed their guys. Oats didn’t do it in the 1st or 2nd half and it eventually got way out of hand with no one on our team stepping up and keeping their composure.

That appears to be the most fouls against Alabama since it was called for 30 on Nov. 10, 2017 against Memphis.

It's absolutely the thing he fails at the most in my peanut brain.
He just doesn't believe in it for whatever reason.

Alabama finished with 32 fouls, which is the school’s most since they had 36 in a 4OT game against South Carolina in 2017.
Per @collegebb_ref’s search tool, 32 fouls is the most in any regulation game for Alabama in at least the past 11 seasons

The 7 or 10 seed Bama would play in the 2nd round as a 2 seed would be a decent nonconference team.
Bama has lost to every decent nonconference team they have played this year.
(7) LSU, Clemson, BYU, Colorado
(10) Loyola-Chicago, Florida, Rutgers, Oklahoma St
We would have a 25% chance of playing a team in conference at the moment and I like our chances against the others on a neutral court.

Except for Bruner did anybody else play well today? I don't remember anybody else. Petty started strong but disappeared as usually happens with him. Of course the Refs did not really allow us to play today. Herbert really needs to stop fouling so much ,he cannot keep fouling out of every game. Just a shitty game all round, hope we leave this in Arkansas and renew rejuvenate for the rest of the season. Disappointing.

It’s really difficult for me to take anything away from this game. We started poorly, but got it together. I think we got discouraged/frustrated because the game was called poorly., in my opinion

Lets Melt tonight about Doug Shows but keep perspective we just gotta win 1 more game to win the conference championship.
Positives are We got Gary Back and Bruner showed flashes offensively of getting his groove back

Unless you're playing a team that doesn't even have a pulse I don't think it's possible to win a basketball game where you get called for 32 fouls.

That's how I'm viewing it Cobra as well!

It looked like a bunch of LeBrons out there, flopping all over the place. They got every call.

I thought Gary was solid.
It’s basketball. You have some bad games lose some games.
We just need to hold onto the conference title and then hopefully get good pairings in March and get hot at the right time.

The Sweet 16 might be a bit much for this team based on their nonconference record. Bama won't be beating up on weak SEC teams anymore in the tournament.

Definitely lost some composure and our offense had 0 flow.
But hard to draw conclusions on that - just a brutal game to try and watch
