13 SEC wins, the most since the 14-2 1987 season

The biggest difference in this team and past teams is we find ways to win these games when in past years we lose this game.
I have been conditioned to expect collapse and failure

It's not that he sucks at driving. It's that he often drives without a plan and jacks up an absurd layup attempt, like it's a streetball game. It's more about him being to play smarter as point. But he was fantastic at the rim today.
Honestly, I'm thrilled to get the win when we shot that poorly. Is this our worst shooting percentage game of the year?

This team has decided not to do that

Shack is actually a great finisher but his decision making is so fricking moronic.

Herb having a little handshake with Pett's kid is awesome

He's been our best driver and finisher at the rim since SEC play started. He's lost his touch from the 3-point line, but his driving has been huge for us. Sure, he throws up some prayers every now and then, and he's never seen a fast break opportunity he won't pass up, but I'll take his aggressive nature every day. He also gets to the FT a line a lot on his drives.

Yea, you are correct. You'd rather take the fast break bad with the rest good.

I never expected a blowout against Vanderbilt, always gives us fits.
Ecen this year, they're usually playing tight games, just never winning them.

It's going to be weird watching next year with no Herb or Petty.

Just listening to the game, and Oats needs to eat the refs lunch. There were some abysmal calls.
Not that I don't agree, but how the hell do you know the calls were bad?..because the announcer and color guy said so?..

Imagine if we had actually lost to Vandy and had to do the Postgame stuff.....

Nor did I. About 10 points was what I was expecting. We were well on our way to that until the Stackhouse T. He did have a point on the no call, and the refs did all they could to make up for that with just atrocious officiating the rest of the game. We certainly didn't help ourselves with bad shooting, and questionable decision making though.

Ellis struggled late handling the ball.
