Honestly, when we clinch the SEC this week, nobody is going to be thinking “Damn, we sure did shoot and finish terribly against Vanderbilt”.
Let’s just focus on Bruner getting good minutes, the team getting another win, and avoiding another disappointing loss against Vandy.

The biggest difference in this team and past teams is we find ways to win these games when in past years we lose this game.

He was very active on D and on the glass in the first half. Didn't really do much the 2nd half. It's going to take him a couple of games to get his legs back under him. His shots looked pretty bad as well.
Didn't think we played that bad in the 1st half. 2nd half was just ugly, and the officiating had a lot to with that. Shooting was awful all game, but made just enough to win.

We wouldn't have won today if it wasn't for Shackelford scoring 24 today and hitting so many buckets on drives.

At least we won. Our normal February swoon means we lose this game and the USC game. Winning is all that matters.
Very glad Bruner was able to play today. Each game he’s going to get better and be a little smoother which makes us a dangerous team in March.

He doesn't suck at driving, he sucks when he decides to drive on the break when its a 1 on 3. It's only 2-3 times a game, and my guess is Oats is ok with it because he doesn't want to stifle him all together.
He's very good at driving in the offense.
