Great point.

Right which is not a 2 or 3 seed at this point.

I think a 3 or 4 seed is pretty much dead on.

We're a top 10-12 team by all efficiency models. That puts us as a #2/3 seed.

Which isn't bad at all. And a huge accomplishment for this team. Losing sucks. But they could've folded when they were down 9 twice

Well, after that game, I'm now sitting on my couch crying. But that's mostly from the chicken korma that just got delivered was Indian spicy, but white boy spicy. Being Alabama, I underestimated them.

But that game pisses me off too. Turnovers and offensive rebounds were ridiculous. Can't gift them extra chances and free possessions.

We're also really banged up, and it's showing. I'm glad we're about to enter the softer part of our schedule. Because there's some guys who need to take it easier before the tournament. But huge respect for Ironman Herb. He's skinny, but tough as nails to still be balling with all the injuries he's had.

I once made the mistake of telling the waiter at an Indian restaurant to make my food spicy by his standards, not mine.

Sometimes a loss is the best thing to wake a team up, and this is not a bad one. Unlike football you can afford a couple of losses. We’re shaky but I trust Nate Oats.

That's exactly what we need, to get refocused. We have a really good team obviously, you don't beat LSU, Florida, and Arkansas by combined 80 points on accident, they are all tournament teams.

It's a Cuonzo team. Gangbusters or church league. There is no in between.

I'm still pissed and confused to why we couldn't just make two layups to close out a game?

Why are we so damn bad at gimmies?

Not even mad at Oats, those guys are aspiring to get to the NBA and can't finish easy chances.

That is on them

I think a lot of us are using a football fan mentality in taking a loss.
Regular season basketball losses, or wins for that matter, are not necessarily need to be viewed as an end all be all situation.
A loss like today, you can see where the difference between a W and an L boils down to a few missed opportunities. It's not like Bama lost be 25 with a host of bad issues.

I know better today. I had a couple brothers I was friends with growing up that were Indian. It helped get me over being a picky eater. Because even though it looked funky as hell, it smelled so damn good, I knew it had to taste good.

But if they said it was hot, they weren't lying. If they cussed while yelling you it was hot, I didn't touch it.
