He missed a layup that wasn’t heaved at the rim while falling down like usual

I mean I don’t mind today’s loss. It was bound to happen eventually and doesn’t hurt us one bit as far as winning the SEC Championship.

Hopefully this refocus us. If we split these next 2 I feel like the SEC is ours

Yea it has. Brought out all the normal Bamcessed plus all the "Alabama fans" who can't stop shitting their pants and hadn't posted about basketball once before about a month ago

It took me a minute (earlier on this season) to figure out why Davion Mitchell was such a familiar name, and then I remembered he was on that Auburn team a few years ago.

Sort of odd footnote that one of the two best teams in the country’s starting backcourt consists basically of transfers from Alabama (if you consider Butler a transfer) and Auburn.

We sucked on offense for sure but it wasn't a choke, we were never ahead enough for it to be a choke.

Herb can get to the rim whenever he wants he just can’t finish. Matter of fact him being like 50% and not being able to get to the rim whenever is the main thing hurting us right now IMO....other than not having Bruner and getting abused inside

With LSU hanging with TT, Florida beating WV, and Auburn hanging with Baylor I think the narrative that the SEC is way down this year is a myth.

It's a solid league. No great teams but a lot of average/good ones.

The only great teams this year are Baylor and Gonzaga. We have a lot of good teams.

I still expect Auburn to lose this one by 15+. Kind of crazy they've hung with Baylor as long as they have.

Auburn with Cooper is probably up there with the best in SEC.... Might be the best at the end of the year

We beat them with Cooper at Auburn, so I can't put them above us. When they get Powell back they will be even better. Should be a good game us vs them to end the season.

Our T-Rank over the last 7 days (3 games) is #44. #132 in offense, #35 defense. Which seems about right. Also, if our low point is #44, that's pretty good.

Better than I thought. Saw some signs today we are moving the ball better than kentucky.

Still wish we would keep the tempo up, but with our lack of available big men.... Maybe that's wishful thinking

Thankfully we have the easy part of our schedule coming up after the Mizzou game. We need to get healthy and get Bruner back, hopefully we will be back up hitting on all cylinders by the end of the reg season heading into the tournaments.
