Impressive win, Tennessee is playing closer to their expected level at the start of the season so that win was even better than it looks on paper

That's our system dude. It's why we are 23-6.
You don't stop shooting them because of short term trends. Not unless you see something in the defense that prevents open three's.
Shoot threes, attack the rim and play D. That is what Oats believes in. He doesn't believe in alot of midrange stuff and has explained why a 100 times.

I'm trying to think of a Bama basketball win in recent years I'm as giddy over. Maybe the Auburn one in the SEC tourney a few years ago. Other than that, I have to go back to the Stanford win in the Sweet 16 in 2005.

And, I prefer the way we played it. We forced them to take a low percentage three to try to tie. If we foul, we may end up with a one point lead and have to make free throws with 10 seconds on the clock.

Also, Michigan lost. If Illinois loses later today and we win tomorrow, we may slide in a #1 seed.

I agree - that situation was not great for a foul. Bailey had the ball in a shooting spot by the time the "time you can foul" arrived. It'd be a big risk, and Tennessee has Pons and Uros to offensive rebound a miss on a FT.
Made Bailey take a terribly difficult 3.

Neither. The game was unnecessarily close because we had one guy shooting threes who probably shouldn't and because we had 12 turnovers in the first half.

Just a gutty win...
Amazing what momentum does, especially to a team that's been winning the whole game....actually adds more pressure as the lead shrinks!!

I get that it is our offense, but when driving the basket is much, much more efficient, and you are shooting 25% from 3, and have 14 wasted trips down the court, you kind of begin to think, "Hey, let's drive more for layups."

Where is that S&B guy. Herb Jones 21points 13 rebounds 4 assists 35 minutes. Player of the game. Almost got a triple double yesterday.

We do drive to the basket. That's part of our game. It's the midrange shots that we limit.
