Outside of rebounding, what would you guys like to see Alabama improve on next season? Was watching some highlights this morning of some previous games and noticed our transition D was really bad. Didn't matter if it was 1 on 1, 2 on 1, or even 3 defenders sitting back, we always gave up a bucket. It wasn't an effort thing either. Guys were sprinting back. But almost seemed like they were always out of position in protecting the rim.

If we have a really bad 3 point shooter I don’t want them to feel like they have the green light. I understand it’s part of our offense, but we had a couple of players last year that was a bad shot.
Charles never did it so that tells me it was because we don’t have to have our big in the corner if they can do other things.
Also I want less ball stopping and I think that will happen based on a couple of players who are no longer on the team.

Great offenses have bodies moving without the ball and ball movement happening by decisive dribble drive or pass.
For as effective and efficient as we were on offense, we definitely had some players that broke that concept down at times. Hell, I think even Philon was guilty of it but it didn't matter because he was hyper effective at making good shots in traffic or finding an open teammate. However, I don't think you want your offense to be that unless you have an NBA-ready guard.

Definitely agree. I guess best way to say it is for guys to lock into their roles. Like we don't need Bristow (just speaking hypothetically) trying to shoot a corner 3 or trying to generate a blow by.

I think Houston Mallette was about the only guy we've had that truly bought into off-ball movement. Some of that comes from the coach on set plays. But yeah, unless it's a high ball screen, our guys need to work on getting open. Or at the very least, cut to the basket with some emphasis.

Man if he's gained weight (muscle) and can still move like last season, we'll be deadly inside.

I think they still have a plan to bring in a guard regardless if both return.

Aren't we sure for another European tour pretty soon? Isn't it once every 4 years?

I think they actually lifted that rule and you can go annually now.

Who would you guys like to see Alabama play in OOC?
Not gonna lie, despite our atrocious record vs Purdue, I still enjoy the game. Would also like to see us play at Kansas.

A home and home vs UCLA would be cool because I could stay with my friend in LA. Kansas would be fun.
But if we’re playing in Vegas I’m probably going to that as my big road trip.
