Bradley sucked losing. Though Arizona probably runs a more favorable system for his playing style. Nimari had a good career as a and D guy and plays a lot of minutes for Michigan.
Sherrell just fricking hurts. It really fricking sucks to lose a key starter especially a mobile big. frick this bullshite.
You'd think a big with NBA aspirations would be all over Bama. Nobody will familiarize them with their future roles better than here. And with supposed big new money, we still look fricking defenseless to keep our guys.

He is a Detroit kid, so that wouldn't be surprising. They were a mess with Juwan when he was a recruit.

Im fine with Sherrell leaving, I generally like that kid, but we were limited in so many ways because of his lack of pop. Especially defensively. If he actually worked on his body he'd be incredible, and if he goes to another school and actually gets in shape I am going to lose my fricking mind like everyone else is currently.

I like Sherrell a lot, and appreciate what he's done in his time here. The issue is he's going to command a ton of cash in the open market because of his ability to step out and hit the 3, and Oats' system just doesn't require that out of a 5 to be good. Our best team ever had a Bediako/Pringle tandem at the 5 spot. If you can get two similar type players for the cost of one Sherrell you absolutely have to consider it.

Whatever happens, I need everyone to chill if we dont sign a full roster in the next week. I guarantee a lot of these guys are going to wait and negotiate over a bit of time. Some guys will be announcing tomorrow, but certainly not everyone.

May is becoming a pain in the arse. There was some weird quote about Yaxel not even knowing we were recruiting him and if there’s been tampering with Sherrell.
Supposedly he and Oats are friendly but he’s being a real dickhead

This is going to keep happening as long as they keep giving Nate just enough NIL to be competitive but not enough to match offers of top ten spenders. 12 million isn't enough when the highest bidders have 15+ as their floor.

Last few of pages of the other thread were really weird so I am very happy to see a fresh start with a new thread.
I'm excited to see how the roster starts to take shape. I'm expecting our roster building to be much of what we've seen in the past, but I am expecting a little more size in the front court.

I want Handlogden if we don’t get Sherrell back. Handlogden would have started on every SEC but Florida and had been All conference IMO. He just got stuck behind Condon and Chinyelu

Needs to be a salary cap, a legit cap. You can either blow it on one or two players or divide it amongst the whole team. Every team should have the same cap limit. That would lower the going price for some of these players. Until then, the northern schools are gonna dominate pay for play.
