Under no circumstances should your game plan involve Milroe throwing the ball 27 times in a half.

Out of his range?? He was the Groza winner. How did he win that over Reichard?!?! He looked more like a College Gameday kicker on that one. Sheesh

Those last three series by Alabama were an embarrassment. I give that to the OC.
We're going to pay the price for not taking advantage of good fortune in that 1st half.
You can feel it coming.

Alabama’s Tackles are equally bad. Who is the coach there? The inside seem ok. But the Tackles are horrible.
Is it the scheme that is putting them in bad positions? Or have they digressed that much?
The tackles are a square peg in a round hole in the offense DeBoer wants to run.

He had infinite trust in his previous QB and offense. He’s probably scared as shite on every 3rd and long these days.
Again, what can you do as a playcaller with Milroe right now?
He’s had obvious easy reads and he just can’t process it right now.
Two throw and pray throws into the end zone.
Multiple drives killed with missed open receivers.
Can’t process the RPO reads killing the run game and putting the team behind the sticks.

Milroe sucked in the first half of last year's game too. Hopefully he picks it up.

Make Miller the main RB and run the ball. Stop Milroe throwing so much, he is completely rattled today, get him to run.
Light a fire under our OL, they are too casual. Someone needs to take charge on offense. Don’t let 10rC score on the first drive.

His range is limited. There is a reason he doesn’t kick off.

Truth is Milroe has only been playing at Bama for 4 years.

Id rather see him get 27 carries tbh.
Unbelievable

Well, the OC needs to game plan around Milroe’s strengths.
The bad thing, though, is that Milroe isn’t really showing strengths in this game. I don’t know what his deal is.
Maybe UT’s defense is good, or maybe Milroe just isn’t “him”.

27 passing attempts. RBs have 9 attempts. Bama never trailed.
Simply indefensible.

Exactly. His potential is off the charts. As soon as it clicks for him, he'll be unstoppable. Give him another 20 years of development, and Milroe will be a tremendous QB

While I generally agree with this sentiment, when you face a strong run stopping team, you have to pass to beat them.
However, if you look at the hurry up run play we ran before Milroe’s end zone pick, we should have scored. We had exactly what we wanted and 57 totally whiffed on his block. OL just isn’t blocking well

This is where our genius coaches make their amazing adjustments and we come out like a different animal after the half!!!
