Kentucky beat Duke this season running a similar style of play. Auburn had Duke on the ropes but fell on the road. Jay Wright thinks Alabama is going to give Duke problems due to style of play. Alabama can beat Duke. Limit the turnovers, get defensive rebounds and hit some 3's. Duke's offensive rebounding is ranked 167th in the country so they aren't a great offensive rebounding team.

Duke is great. I don't think they're better than the top of the SEC though. Most of the people who do think they are aren't basing it on anything but perception and hype. I'm not saying that believing Duke will win is wrong. But, if you haven't watched them a lot and have reasons for believing it, then you're just believing what you hear.
With a good game, I think we'll be in it.

I remember after the Houston game, and thinking how much I don't want to play them for awhile. Went to a Houston board, and they said they didn't want to play Bama anytime soon.
There's definitely no lack of shitty commentary and previews out there. But not many teams want to play against our pace, because they don't have a bench that's as deep. If we control the tempo, we can win it. But we do have bodies if we have to play a lot of half court D.

I know this is the case, I do know what good basketball teams look like, but good lord there's a psychological barrier preventing me from actually believing it. All of this is just surreal

When we play up to our potential, we are every bit as good if not better than the top teams. It's just the consistency we haven't had throughout the season. Hopefully that last game has sparked something we haven't seen all season and we can go all the way.

Duke is an incredible team. And yes, they've put up the numbers they should considering how weak the ACC is.
But
Their best win since the Auburn game is...Illinois? Arizona? Louisville? UNC? Nothing burger teams. They lost to Clemson, a team that South Carolina handled. Sure they beat Illinois by 50, but we beat them with Mark Sears having quite literally the worst game of his career.
They have not been prepared for this level of competition. Bama has, and Bama has preparing for it all season long. Our schedule got significantly EASIER when the tournament started. We played half the S16 and half of the E8.
Duke may blow us out, anything is possible in CBB. But this Bama team knows how to fight, this Bama team has grit and soul. Flagg is a good kid, and an incredible player, but he's still a kid. No one has had the length and athleticism to bother him. Bama has 4 separate guys who can guard him.
I never put on my crimson glasses, I always try to have a clear picture of what I am seeing in front of me. Acknowledging the pros and cons, the good and bad.

Duke didn’t look unbeatable against Arizona in their last game. I understand Duke is favored and have no issue, but Bama was a bigger underdog against AU earlier this month and won. Id say it’s a 60/40 game in Duke’s favor. We can beat them without playing A+ ball.

I believe Nate will have them focused for this game and it seems the players are peaking at the right time which is critical in this tournament. It’s the hardest championship to win in my opinion and the tumblers have to hit to perfection to win this tournament
Only concern I have is officiating. It can determine how the players either play aggressively or play timidly. We will see if they let them play physical and how Flagg can handle it.

Yeah, officiating concerns me. You know the NCAA, CBS, and Vegas, all want Duke and Flagg in the FF. Teh FF could legitimately lose more than half a million viewers if Duke isn't in it.
