It was a good article, but did not have their facts straight. It mentioned Julio Jones was a South Florida recruit like Cooper and Ridley. He is from Foley, AL.

Anyone have a list of our players and remaining prospects who are expected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game in January or the U.S. Army All-American Bowl?

This thread's first post has links to player lists for all-star games. Also, in this thread's 2nd post you can click on player names for 247 profile pages, which list their accolades (below photo gallery).

Yesterday was a fun day and even though last years class was obviously a higher ranked class I did not enjoy it as much. These two classes back to back I think will pay huge dividends over the next three to four years. Hopefully we can play a lot of these young guys significant downs as a result of being trustworthy and not injuries

They can’t recruit him if he signed during the Early Signing Period with someone else.

Yup. If he was on the phone with Saban or with Bama, then he's ours. I hope the info is correct

Here is what we know, or think we know, on Darnell. FLUID situation. I've talked to several sources in the last 12 hours and I'm told consistently that Darnell has not signed his LOI. He and his mom haven't come to an agreement yet... Could that change? Absolutely. We have confirmed he's been in consistent communication with the UA staff up to this point. Couple of different scenarios could play out:
1-Washington signs and keeps it quiet until he announces at his all-star game.
2-Washington waits until the late period to sign. -- TW (segments)

Could he have called Saban to tell him he'd signed with Georgia? As a courtesy?

I thought a recruit could reach out to any coach at any time; it's only coaches who have limitations on contact.

Holy shite, 2001. He wasn’t even 2 months old when 9/11 happened. They’re kids that signed yesterday that weren’t even born when 9/11 happened.

I’m old.

If a player signs a LOI and the school doesn't announce it, then the player has to inform the other coaches he has signed a LOI with another school. Then the other school have to stop contacting him.

Latest on Darnell Washington per Tim Watts:

- Several sources claim Washington DID NOT sign his LOI yesterday and it looks like he will wait to NSD.

- He and his mother have not come to an agreement on his college destination. They could be at a stalemate.

- He could still sign before the end of the ESD window tomorrow night and the school he signs with keeps it quiet until his announcement.

Jordan Burch did he same thing from what I heard from Wiltfong on the radio last night. He committed to S Carolina but didn't sign. I wonder if he's still in play.

Imagine him not signing, ending up here, LSU with the double melt.

Bama is considering taking another DB, apparently for Story, Branch or Turnage to play WR.

Branch footage is very impressive at wr not as yet developed as a Christian Kirk but that potential at the WR position and I felt Turnage WR footage was a twiner of Cam sims and Smitty.
Not as natural as Smitty but smoother than Cam's.

I think we have several kids like an Eddie Jackson that if developed could change positions.
Between Wright,Hellams and battle we just need to fine one more safety for next yr to be 4 deep.

My bigger concern is CB development after surtain leaves as Jobe will start this yr at the other spot.
I am assuming that we expect Jalyn Armour-Davis to take Surtains spot after patrick leaves.
Unless Scooby gets his head on straight.

I hope we do take another DB. With the game the way it is now with 4 and 5 out in every pattern and having to play nickel and dime so much, you can’t have too many cover guys

This sounds like another one of those situations where the kid wants team A, mama wants team B, and he ends up with team C as a compromise.

Oh yeah, whoever Team A is in this scenario is actually in 3rd place even though they are the favorite of the actual player.

Lord, that makes me feel so damn old

Makes Joe Burrow seem old ,too.

Joe is older than Lamar Jackson. It will be the first time in history that the current Heisman trophy winner is older than the current NFL MVP
