Every prospect with a Crystal Ball prediction to Alabama (BamaOnLine)
quote:

The 247Sports Crystal Ball is currently hitting at an 86.97 percent clip overall in the class of 2020. 3,311 of 3,807 predictions have been dead on, making it a great barometer to get insight into where a recruit is leaning.

Several predictions have gone in Bama’s favor... Here, BamaOnLine takes a peek at each uncommitted recruit that currently holds at least one Crystal Ball prediction in favor of the Crimson Tide, as well as the latest in their respective recruitments... (more)

Lets not forget the owner of Cleveland Browns is a 10rC alum and benefactor. He could be whispering sweet dollar signs in Tosh's ear if he really wants him there.
Pruitt has worked with Tosh and he would be a slam dunk for Vols recruiting.

Iirc, didn't Pruitt consider and then not hire Tosh last year when he was looking for a new gig?

The Haslams are power hungry a-holes at best. And how successful is their NFL franchise in terms of W/Ls? They've been instrumental in UT's long running toxic political / administative turmoil -- the main reason UT hasn't been able to hire a top notch HC since Fulmer was fired as HC. The more Fulmer and his backers can keep the Haslams from meddling in AD affairs the better Fulmer's and Pruitt's chances will be of turning UT's FB program around. If Pruitt can get to a 10-win season including a bowl win by year 3-4, he'll have suitors. Who knows? Timing may work out for Pruitt to bolt sooner than later to a better gig -- e.g., FSU?

I think you are right. I do remember reading something about that. Saban may have run some interference there.

I don't remember timing or details of whether Pruitt had decided not to hire Tosh or was still undecided when Tosh got hired by the Browns.

Don’t know if troll or not . Just saying there was a rumor and it does make sense like you were saying . There is a relationship there with Pruitt and I think Tosh only went to the NFL to save face. He is a college coach all the way and hell of a recruiter

Would sure hate to see him in the SEC if not at Bama

I think it was just a fake news trolling post and nothing more. If there was any real smoke, then chatter would be showing up elsewhere like BOL, GoVols247, VolNation, Twitter, etc.

Hell their better boards had all sorts of rumors and insiders claiming Gruden would be their HC for several years. See where that got them.

On Phillip Webb: "I wouldn't project Bama just yet, but there's been a lot more positive Bama buzz in the last few weeks, where it was more LSU in June and early July. Firmly in top 2-3 IMO. Webb and Arik Gilbert will be the most intriguing guys to watch visit-wise in Sept and Oct." -- Hank

Yo, Arik Gilbert! Irv $Mith already scoring TDs in the NFL.

Joseph Butler Twitter | Sav'ell Smalls Twitter

I kinda hope zero Bama fans reply to his dad.

Smalls said he would visit Bama this summer, but didn't. He visited FSU & 10RC in late July.

ETA: Dad got a few UA fan replies--classy ones.

Why is this dad so thirsty for attention because of his son?

Didn't Bama kind of "cool" on recruiting Smalls because of stuff outside of his actual playing ability?

Kid hasnt visited since last year. He had the opportunity to visit during his southern tour in July. Now dad wants Bama fans to kiss his butt. Yeah that makes sense.

Yeah but Sabans recruiting kid not dad so I wouldn’t let his dad cause any Alabama fans to act out towards him because whether dad is right or wrong he is still dad. I hope the kid comes to Bama and lights it up. We definitely need all the quality kids we can get at LB.
