One thing about Saban, he will play the best 5 even if a tackle has to move to guard for a few years
One thing Bama was missing was more size. Big pickup
Tackling machine. How well does he play in space/ coverage?

Based on per capita regarding blue chips and NFL players it's more than ok but carry on
That Thompson DL tandem will be something to watch for a few more years. Jeremiah Alexander and Peter Woods. They play tonight btw.

They've got two or three guys that are seniors this year with some SEC offers (Roc Taylor and one of the Fegans kids). Clay Webb was wanted by everyone a couple years ago. It's cool to see them start to put some guys at big D1 schools nowadays when they used to send one guy every 4 or 5 years to D1.

Oxford does a good job of recruiting kids from other high schools in the surrounding area. (Anniston,Lincoln, Munford, etc)

From a talent standpoint, 7A Region 3 is the best league. 3 College feeder schools( Hoover, Thompson, Hewitt-Trussville) are in that region. Central-Phenix City, Pinson Valley, Carver, and St.Paul are some of the other top college feeder schools.
Just the overall dedication to the sport is probably the biggest difference. Probably a lot more parents get their kids involved in youth football here compared to Oregon. That is where it starts.

Rivals has him a 5.5 3star. Just killing his composite rank
So you don't see the difference between remembering a particular year/situation and remembering every state of AL DB recruit LSU offered in the last 20 years?

Congrats. Maybe he will become a composite 4 star soon.
No need for him to be more patient. He was able to commit to the best program that offered him

, agree. Sounds like a lot of schools see the same thing in him and all of them would probably prefer to analyze it in person at a camp, but Alabama decided to take a shot on it without it and others didn't.
so is it documented that other schools that he liked wouldn't take him right now?

He looks like a great athlete and Bama needs LB’s
Bama signed an elite LB class last year and started 2 Freshman. So their need for LBs is no more than any other team on his list.

I know he’s a bit of a tweener but I’m glad they are taking a chance on him
with today's offenses, not many schools are going to pass on a kid with LB type size that can cover/ play well in space.
If this was the case, why would they take Seegars last month? A kid that y'all probably could get later in the process
Let us know when Bama signs one because this is definitely not a 4.8 kid.
Yeah looks really good on paper. Gotta see what those new commits look like on the field before we start comparing them to those old corps
