My boy Irv Smith took that starting spot from Forristal. That's a complete flip from 2017.

Kaho only one listed behind Moses

I'm not buying Aho being the first option to replace Moses in case of injury. I imagine that he is the 5th ILB, regardless of the position. But he can't be listed at Mike cause he is a loooooong way from making any calls.

Ben Davis will start around the same time Titus Ryan gets qualified academically.

Went back a ways to get that one!!! I recall coaching track and seeing that cat run in the State Track meet there in T'town. I just knew he would be a stud on the football field. And poof he was gone to a larger degree than even Duron Carter could imagine!!

Pretty sure his step-son was Brandon Avalos who played at Bama.

FWIW...the QBs are listed neither in alphabetical or numerical order. Does it mean anything?

What we know is that somebody had to be typed first due to English being a left-to-right language, and no matter how close or how far away they are, the first name typed was Tua.

We'll see who plays on Saturday.

Any words on the topic above and beyond that are wasted words.

Rodney has always been a good dude and has provided a good service imo. He loves Alabama. He's ok in my book. Besides, it doesn't take someone with the football IQ of one Steve Spurrier to report things you hear within the football program, and Rodney does that well imo.

Kaho in the 2 deep....nice. He must be a quick learner

Good to see Kief in the 2 deep. He has good size. Good target in the Red Zone

Latu/Anoma....sucks about the injuries but they could be special

Titus wont get any attention if Mike Ford gets cleared.

Kief was 2nd string on last year's depth chart, too. Don't get too excited.

I started a thread about this topic and was ran right out of the thread so tread lightly. Unless it's cool to tell the truth now in which case carry on. We badly need depth at linebacker though so it would have been great if he had at least ended up average. Oh well.

The thing I'd like to know is if Ben Davis could start for or get on the field with another team. Like, is he good enough to start at Missouri?

I ask this because Bama recruits incredibly well, and it's not that uncommon for Bama to recruit a younger player who's simply better than the older player. I wonder if he can't get on the field at Bama, or he couldn't get on the field anywhere else in the SEC either. Those are very different distinctions.

Anoma in the two deep. Looks like we at least found a situational pass rusher.

I don't think he played on any special teams. If I am remembering correctly, his only playing time came against Mercer
