New twist in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman ... police claim they have reason to believe they have a recording of O.J. Simpson confessing to the murders...
quote:

According to a new search warrant, obtained by TMZ, cops in Minnesota say they have a thumb drive they were told has a recording of O.J. admitting to the double murder of Nicole and Ron.

What's more, police say they've been told the recording also features O.J. implicating an unknown third party.

In the warrant, cops say they seized a backpack containing multiple thumb drives from a man named Iroc Avelli as part of an investigation in a separate case. Avelli is Simpson's former bodyguard.

He should've sold it to TMZ.

He wasn't going to jail no matter what. Just like the DNA evidence that was indisputable the jury would have sided with it was all a setup by law enforcement. This would have been passed off a a fake recording. The bottom line was the jury didn't want to have to deal with the rioting that would have ensued and putting their lives at risk. I do believe his body guard should be prosecuted if he had these tapes and didn't notify the authorities. Hell, if it hadn't been for the Menendez brothers shrink they would have never seen a jail cell. The LA PD made it very clear to the shrink to hell with the client confidentiality clause and that he could not withhold evidence without being prosecuted.

Nah, and neither did anyone who plays golf apparently as he spent the rest of his life playing/looking for the real killer/killers on courses all over the East and West Coast’s

Speaking of murders, stop using ellipses and murdering the English language.

The jury would have found him not guilty, even with a recorded confession.

OJ really didn't have much money towards the end. Guy will make plenty enough money off of interviews if there is some meat to the bones of his story.

Idk $25K per month will keep you in beer and smokes for a while. That was his untaxed pension money from NFL that Goldmans couldn’t touch either as it was considered retirement $$. That’s like a job making a half million a year since he took home $300 every year until he dies

So the glove did not actually fit him. It fit his buddy that helped him kill them. Got it.

Does double jeopardy apply if there is new evidence?

Can't be criminally charged again with the same crime once acquitted.

Can’t be charged if ya already dead regardless of double jeopardy and new evidence. But no, they could try and someone on different charges that weren’t previously brought up in the earlier case

i'm aware of double jeopardy, but does that also apply to the dead? dig him up and have another trial with this new evidence.

Dig up Johnny Cochran, F. Lee Bailey and Bob Kardashian while we’re at it. Can’t have another trial without the whole gang!

A pope was once dug up and put on trial. The corpse was found guilty and I think thrown into a river.
