On Robert Griffin III's "RG3 and The Ones" podcast this week, Colorado head coach Derion Sanders told the host what he's been adamant about for months: he does not want to coach in the NFL, however...
quote:

"You need to give up on it," Sanders said to Griffin. "The only scenario you could come up with right now is to throw my kids in. That’s the only thing you can do, and I know that’s where you were going because I know you."

He'd coach Dallas under one condition. First, they have to ask him.

Throw his kids in?? So, I don't get it, he talking about including his kids in along with coaching the Cowboys or going to Alabama to coach?? Which is it??

I thought Aflac gives you money to help you close that gap

Why is so many people hating on prime? His fricken nik name is PrimeTime and y'all tripping on his 15 minutes, believe me this is just the beginning of PrimeTime, wait till he's winning at Colorado and the big boys come calling. Trust I'm a diehard Saints fan, never like Prime but enjoyed watching him against other teams. In 2 or 3 years he will be at one of the majors.

The Deion schtick wouldn't work in the NFL. Kids want to go play for him. That would be way to many ego's in one place. I couldn't imagine some big arse grown men linemen listening to the shite coming out his mouth.

Theres not enough room in Jerry world for both Deion's and Jerry Jones' egos.

I don't think Sanders has anything to worry about in regards to the Cowboys. Sanders is a loudmouth opportunist and RG3 maybe the dumbest analyst of all time.

He's turning down job offers that has yet to receive?

I'm sure there's more context to the way that this clickbait was presented. I'm just not going to listen to a podcast with RG3 and Deion.

I respect him. He is transparent about intentions and literally says he is not interested and it would take something that would be an unrefusable offer which he understands is most likely not feasible. He is a self promoter, but doing what he thinks is good for his kids, one of whom plays the same position that got him into the HOF. I can see people may not like his style, but intentions are legit. I hope he succeeds.

If that doesn't prove why he's in coaching, then I don't know what else you need to show he is only doing this for daddy ball.

Hey I can't either, wouldn't want him coaching my program. But I can find other things to be mad at than a father's love for his kids.

His kids can’t even compete in the big 12, to think they have a shot in the NFL is hilarious

Such a foolish comment. Colorado had skill players on both sides of the ball (and his boys were a big part of it).

Much like Brian Kelly, Deion needs a couple of cycles to get the lines on both sides of the ball beefed up.

Even Jerry Jones is not that stupid to hire Deion as coach of the Cowgirls.

Poor Dak Prescott. Playing for Deion is one thing. Losing your job to his son is another.

I will go to Jackson State IF you give me kids schollies! I will go to Colorado IF you give my kids schollies! I would coach the Cowboys IF you throw my kids in! Oh! And even remotely thought about and were crazy enough to offer it!
