re: 2 US Navy vessels collide near South America, with injuries
Posted by OU812ME2 on 2/12/26 at 11:49 am to jizzle6609
I've never seen it happen with my eyes. I did however go TAD to a USNS oiler to go fix their records and teach them (all women) how to do their jobs. At the time Women weren't allowed on combat vessels. I rode in a Helo to get there and took a bosun's chair between the ships when refueling to get back. I preferred the helo. I had to laugh when I went to get in the chair because above your head was a roll of toilet paper. Unsure why but my brain still remembers it.
They had much better chow on the USNS than the aircraft carrier. And those women? meh I called them oil cows.

I disagree. It would have given him cover again because Brice just needs to grow more. The excuses were plenty and when you're going to have to pay that much to get rid of him, excuses offer protection. I think the total regression of Nuss and his handling of whatever injury there was is what ultimately sank BK. When you spend and go all in and see a worse team, there's no real excuse anymore. Either way, I'm glad he's gone. Even if nothing at all gets better, I'm glad his arrogant azz is gone.

This was the only thing she did that was 'hot' It was a pretty good scene too. The mini series is quite good. Meh girls doing hot things does elevate them a bit at least until you hit your reset joystick

Maybe he's thinking new coach with new building? He did slide in something about a new arena.
FWIW, I lost a lot of respect for Jordy back when he was pushing for Billy Napier outrageously. He was the only one I could ever stand doing whiskey and wine though.

Jordy meh. But really enjoyed watching this interview with Verge. I admit to not really knowing much about Verge, but I sure like what I hear. I think he's a genuine LSU guy who expects winning at the big sports on campus. Expects it. His basketball answer didn't really make me feel great, but I also think he knows it's over but so is the season so why not get the money together first. Anyway I can't help but be excited in the direction we're going

Lane has shown improvement at limiting his overly aggressive in-game decisions, but it his definitely his biggest weakness as a coach imo
Back in the day Ole Les would do some outrageously aggressive things as well. What I genuinely hope for is a team where you can be aggressive and not make it but still recover and win. I believe we're set up pretty good to have a team like that, if they come together as a team. But I'm not really looking forward to a 4th and 10 on our 20 and Lane deciding to go for it. But it's bound to happen here and there.
There is nothing wrong giving a new coach the benefit of the doubt. I hated BK and ND. He was actually a perfect fit there with his arrogance and ability to say the stupidest things.
I didn't know anything about him outside of what the media portrayed. I wasn't excited at all when he was hired. But after reading plenty of glowing things about him here, decided to support him fully. From the first game though it was obvious he wasn't a great game manager.
Is it wrong for fans to go into the season thinking it's gonna be great? I'm sure there are going to be many 4th downs that I can't believe he went for it. But I won't piss on him until he deserves it.

Demolish the PMAC. Problem solved.
Enslave the world. Eliminate anyone who didn't worship me. I would love to imagine I could be a good guy and a hero, but I know better. Anyone with that sort of power would eliminate large swaths of people and rule the world.

I can never hate Saban. Even when he was crushing it at Alabama. I hated Bama, but always respected Saban as the best coach by far in college football. Maybe ever.
I appreciate the effort all the donors have given to make LSU the best

What a shitty take. Do you have any idea how much work it's going to take to run Kiffin's hurry up offense? The kind that creates competition and hardship that molds a team. I assume this has been conveyed to everyone before they signed. Be prepared to not see substitutions much like 2019 ran. Likely to have plenty of opponents puking tying to keep up with us.
I didn't think it was that loud. It was like being in a sardine can though. We had some fans in front of us that kept giving us cut eye when we cheered after TDs or big plays or responding to the band fight song. Then after they started realizing they were getting pushed all over the field turned into cry babies over every call or non call. They're probably a great fan base when they win, but they weren't prepared for what followed. It was fun watching their infant fans throw a fit.
re: People that go to places and don’t try the local cuisine

I'm not big on chains when I travel anywhere. Or my real manifesto is I don't eat at places that I can eat at while home. So In N Out... for sure. Canes? yep. McDonalds? nah.
Unfortunately, a LOT of the famous places are now just famous for their past food. Most local places make you wonder why they're even in business, much less famous for their area. But I do always try to find something I can't get at home to eat AND drink. Do I care if anyone else does that? nope. Don't look down on people who don't think like you. Everyone who is different isn't doing it wrong, nor are you wrong. Different strokes for different folks.
When I was in the Navy, McDonalds was always considered a safe location to take a shite at. Most Asian places had those hole in the floor toilets and after a long night drinking and eating everything you could, a nice McDonalds shitter just was like a warm hug.

Honestly, I don't care. I was never upset with Frank leaving. We haven't had a decent running game since he came and I was happy to see the house cleaned of those responsible. I trust Kiffin to do whatever it takes to have the best hurry up offense around combined with a good to great defense that will allow us to make football fun to watch.
He's hit the ground running and there is nothing that says he isn't serious as hell about creating a dynasty starting at day 1 here. And that gives me a smile every time I think about it. I can't wait until it's our opponents puking on the field instead of our soft sorry asses.

He's a hero in their book. They set him up with an illegal unlicensed daycare that's already pillaged millions and millions from the fedgov. Looks like a trend with these people. You can Glass those shitholes for all I care. Mogadishu is what Liberals dream for America.
It was 4th down. Man hope they enjoy their coach

Good luck finding insurance when you work for yourself. My wife has a good job with platinum insurance so we're covered. But when she was doing the stay at home thing to raise the kids, it was a nightmare trying to find decent insurance that actually covered anything at any pay rate. And all those prices were over $1000/mth for nothing.
If I could do it over, I'd go work for a big company and put in maximum 401k and enjoy the ride. If you think your boss is an A-hole you can't work for, wait until you meet your customers.

The Harbor Freight one is great with the lighter. You need to keep it out of the weather for the lighter to work consistently. It throws the shite out of flames though. It's overkill, but I use it to light my Masterbuilt gravity. And whatever else needs a flame.
He's awful. Can't make short passes. Horrible accuracy. Timid and slow. No thanks
