If you needed any proof that ESPN has a political agenda.... This is a condition caused by the common cold, but "based on limited studies and anecdotal evidence" ESPN claims that this disproportionately increased by COVID.

How many college athletes per year typically get this condition? If it's more than 5, you might have a point; but since apparently fewer than 200,000 people in the US get it per year, and a hell of a lot more people get colds, you probably don't. Also, acting like ESPN is the only organization reporting this is willfully stupid. Every article I've read today, including ESPN's, mentions limitations of the data and the need for more thorough studies. I wonder if a for-profit organization thought maybe they could be sued if they let people play without doing more research.

Absurdity on an astounding scale. ESPN is a liberal propaganda machine (ie. Caitlyn Jenner winning the Arthur Ashe Courage Award). The common cold can also cause myocarditis but you don't hear about them canceling football during cold/flu season. Herpes simplex or cold sores can also cause myocarditis. This is such BS.
