A TRO is generally only good for about 10 days. Will see if he is successful in obtaining a preliminary injunction. That will determine whether he plays or not this season. Good first step for the player, but not across the finish line.

Keeping in mind Bediako was granted a TRO, but the Alabama state court ultimately denied the preliminary injunction.

If they take a position this year that is significantly different than last year, it won't hold up in court. The rules haven't changed, their "guidance statements" are not how rules are adopted.

Govt doesn’t fund Div 1 sports. In fact at LSU and other P5 teams it’s the opposite to some degree. Sports directly or indirectly gives money back to the school.

Does the new 5 in 5 rule impact this? I thought the 5 years starts to run at HS graduation or 19 years old?

So you’re knock on him before was that he’s a terrible coach and only won because he had better players than everybody else, because he cheated.

So can we agree now that he will not have the best talent in the SEC next year? So that way when he wins, you’ll have to find a new excuse.
