That was a shot at Woodward at the time. It is painfully obvious that calls were consistently going against us in the league. The AD did nothing to protect this program.

No, SW did not reinstate Wade. He was reinstated the week before Scott was hired by Alleva. Scott didn’t like Wade and wanted him gone. This was not a secret around the athletic department.

That’s incorrect. Here’s the press release from LSU reinstating Wade. Alleva was still the AD, not Scott.

That’s right the investigation went on for 3 years, but the amended contract said he could be fired for cause if LSU were hit with L1 or L2 allegations. That happened in March 2022 and Woodward fired Wade within a week.

He was fired because Scott didn’t like him and quite frankly didn’t care about LSU basketball. Scott wanted him gone and took advantage of the first chance he could do it.
