ESPN SportsCenter anchor Scott Van Pelt revealed on his podcast that he'll never fly commercial again because of his experience in Atlanta...
quote:

"I look like a crazy European wearing regular pants but fancy boy shoes. My bags are all asunder, I’m laying down, I’ve just screamed an obscenity in front of everybody, I’m 51 in line, and I start firing off texts to bosses, ‘I’m never going to make it for the TGL tonight, I’m not sure what to tell you, I’m sorry!’ And at this point I say, ‘Never Again! From this point forward it’s the PJ life for me exclusively, that’s it," Van Pelt said.
The very next day, Van Pelt appeared on "The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz" to address the rumor floating around that he cut the TSA line along with ESPN's Matt Barrie...

1. Unless it’s in his contract Disney ain’t paying that PJ ticket unless they absolutely have to.

2. Talk is cheap. A to B for $1500 business class. A to B $10,000 PJ. Let’s see what he does.

To add. Barkley once was looking at chartering. He got the quote and replied back , “I don’t want to buy the plane, just rent it” . They laughed at him on the other line.

I could not agree more. Flying commercial sucks. But unfortunately I’m not rich enough to fly private

I’ve encountered several situations where people are standing in bunches. No organized line. I immediately walk to the front and if someone says something, I just hold my arms out and point to the line forming behind me. Humans are idiots.

He and douche canoe Matt Barrie cut the line. That's what that call confirmed.

SVP needs better blockers to clear a path for him. Yes, Hartsfield is a mess, sometimes it's better to drive to B'ham and go through TSA there. Luckily, I rarely have to deal with it.

With society as fricked up as it is you always need to be ready to deal with stupidity all around

You mean how murder and violent crime rates 50% decline since 80s/90s. Let me guess, over 50, rural place of residence, deep right.

I have been in the main (south) security line in ATL at the busiest of times and he is dead on. It can dissolve into a complete cluster with no real line rather quickly. Pro-tip (not mine but given to me by an actual pro): In heavy travel times, go to the semi-hidden north security entrance on the ground level.

I travel a good bit. Atlanta TSA is the WORST of all airports I've been through. They will literally berate you if you ask a question.

A little strange the way he talked but nothing in it at all sounded arrogant.
