ESPN Host Accused Of Cutting The TSA Line At Atlanta's Airport

ESPN SportsCenter anchor Scott Van Pelt revealed on his podcast that he'll never fly commercial again because of his experience in Atlanta...

"I look like a crazy European wearing regular pants but fancy boy shoes. My bags are all asunder, I’m laying down, I’ve just screamed an obscenity in front of everybody, I’m 51 in line, and I start firing off texts to bosses, ‘I’m never going to make it for the TGL tonight, I’m not sure what to tell you, I’m sorry!’ And at this point I say, ‘Never Again! From this point forward it’s the PJ life for me exclusively, that’s it," Van Pelt said.

The very next day, Van Pelt appeared on "The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz" to address the rumor floating around that he cut the TSA line along with ESPN's Matt Barrie...

I’ve encountered several situations where people are standing in bunches. No organized line. I immediately walk to the front and if someone says something, I just hold my arms out and point to the line forming behind me. Humans are idiots.

I have been in the main (south) security line in ATL at the busiest of times and he is dead on. It can dissolve into a complete cluster with no real line rather quickly. Pro-tip (not mine but given to me by an actual pro): In heavy travel times, go to the semi-hidden north security entrance on the ground level.
