Things changed fast after Deion Sanders arrived in Colorado. In his first offseason with the Buffaloes, welcomed 68 new scholarship players for the upcoming season. This week he explained why things had to change...
quote:

“I know it was a huge overhaul, but it had to be done,” Sanders said. “It was tremendously tough, because you had some young men that just didn’t want to play the game, they didn’t love football. It’s hard for me to be effective if you don’t love it.

"It’s tremendously tough when you’re looking at a body of just dead eyes. That’s tough on any coach, not just me. I’m sure a multitude of coaches have experienced that until they could clean house and get the roster they want.”

I'd be pissed if I was one of the players that he let go and he says that shite about me.

Kids don't go play football at Colorado because they "don't want to play"

His answer is such bull shite. Look I get it. He turned over the roster because they were not good enough. All this they didnt love football is for the birds.

a-hole for getting rid of kids who don’t really care about playing the game but care more about being somebody on campus?

He basically got rid of all of the non talented Johnny footballs.

He never even met these kids much less had a chance to judge them. I promise they're better than his son.

Good thing it wasn’t a white coach degrading those blanked eyed black players!

It’s not what he did, it is the way he did it. He could have accomplished the same thing with a good deal more respect and dignity shown to his players. A head coach, taunting and ridiculing his own players? The guy is a clown and he can’t give up the circus act.

I'm very curious to see how Deion will do at Colorado. He's high profile, which is annoying, but also useful to get recruits to go out west. Recruiting is more than half the game, so I think he could succeed. We'll all see what happens. If nothing else, he adds excitement.

Deion will do well in Big12. He’s doubling the talent level immediately.

He’s coming! And his luggage is packed speech was entertaining at the least. One or two things is going to happen. If he’s successful he not staying there very long. This is only a stepping stone to someplace like FSU of he wins next couple years. If he doesn’t win enough he will get fired. His style doesn’t match well in Bolder Colorado, and his antics surely don’t, so look for him to be gone in a few years one way or the other.

He's right. Also the comments are hilarious because they would hate him and want him to do bad no matter what he did. I hope Colorado becomes a powerhouse just to spite all you lol.

No chance Colorado becomes a powerhouse under Prime. He will leave for another gig as soon as the program shows signs of improvement
