Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum was not a fan of fans standing outside of her team hotel during a recent road trip...

Surprised they could find 2 fans lol. That league still hasn’t and won’t make a dollar of profit. It’s funded by the NBA to get more women fans that’s it.

The WNBA begs for fans, and when I fricking guy shows up, those idiotic counts run them off.

To be honest grown men outside a hotel asking for autographs seems pretty weird

That dudes selling those cards. Not sure who’s buying, but he had several sheets and she gavehime one signature.

Yeah, her autograph could potentially add tens of dollars to that card's value lol

The first mistake was asking a WNBA player for an autograph.

It so rarely happens that they don't even know how to react to being asked. What if it was a female asking? Would that have been creepy?
user avatar
Probably the first time she's been asked for an autograph.
It surprised her.

These WNBA players might be some of the most unlikable athletes of all time. No way this league can survive now without Kaitln Clark.

VV rude to a polite fan asking for an autograph. I will never go to a game of hers.

I hope it's just that it's not something they're used to. I'd be surprised if they never got this in college though. I guess it just depends on what school they went to. Nevertheless, it's a good thing for women's basketball that this is happening. It means that people are actually watching the product now.
