Justin Verlander Served With $1,095,198 Lunch Bill At The Beverly Hills Hotel
© Erik Williams-USA TODAY Sports
Seems like L.A. Dodgers fans still aren't over their 2017 World Series loss to the Houston Astros. And guess what? Pitcher Justin Verlander got stuck with the bitter, rather expense, bill...
quote:

#BeverlyHillsHotel really making me pay for that World Series win. Thanks for the great lunch as always!
This is actually pretty great...

I always hated the Dodgers. The only MLB game I ever attended was I’m the Astrodome. I was 6 or 7. Dodgers won 2-1. Hated them ever since.

Also I hope the server let his manager know about that open item before he rang that in...comping a one million dollar item would definitely affect costs

More than likely the manager had to adjust the price on the open item. I am sure they just voided it and gave his correct tab afterward. Good fun by the restaurant

That ENTIRE ticket has to be wrong. I wanted to go see LSU vs UCLA in LA but apparently I’ll go bankrupt.

That's going to a nightmare for accounting when they void that ticket.
