Mississippi State Transfer's Father ‘Didn’t Feel Comfortable’ With Mike Leach After Controversial Tw
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
Mike Leach's controversial tweet last week caused him to lose Mississippi State defensive lineman Fabien Lovett to the transfer portal. Lovett’s father Abdual was part of the decision to leave and here's why his son left...
quote:

“I didn’t feel comfortable with my son being down there with a guy like that from a leadership standpoint — that you can just throw anything out there,” Abdual told the Clarion Ledger on Saturday. “I feel if he can do it, the kids are going to feel like they can do it.”

If that is the actual reason he left this guy is a huge pussy...but I suspect it’s about playing time

Know why today's kids are sky screaming, victims? Because the parents are sky screaming victims. What a horrendous excuse to quit a job. Just man up and say it was not a good fit and you are moving on.

The only thing Leach did wrong was give this kid a reason to put the decision on himself... It is so much easier to break a commitment when you can point the finger at a reason why. Nobody wants to leave saying, "the program was great, the facilities were great, my coaches and teammates were great... I am just a piece of shite." It is easier to point the finger, and unfortunately, Leach gave him what he was looking for.

Dad is uncomfortable? Football is not traditionally about comfort. Also. how does "dad" know he is the real dad? Did Maury confirm?

Get rid of the victim mentality seeking losers. They are pathetic.

Fake News, a bunch of BS. This guy was leaving anyway. MSU switched to a 3 man front and he was going to be no better than 3rd at NG. His dad is just butt hurt that he slid down the depth chart with the coaching change.

What's wrong with the tweet? How is that offensive?

Anything with a damn noose in it gives democrats the right to play the victim. Guess it’s time to burn all of the old spaghetti westerns.

Well, whites hang been hanged aince the Roman days and before. Why are we not triggered by a noose?

I'm very liberal and still think it's ridiculous anyone would get offended by that tweet. Since quarantining has been a thing, people have made jokes about spouses wanting to kill each other. A noose is not inherently a racist image.
