Report: LSU Loses Defensive Back To The Transfer Portal

LSU safety Kylin Jackson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple reports.

Jackson, a redshirt freshman from Clinton, La., played in all 12 games this past season, registering four total tackles. He appeared in 5 games as a true freshman last season.

The former four-star recruit from Zachary signed with LSU in 2023 over Texas A&M.

Kelly needs to target top rated portal guys. Not like the first tow seasons of getting guys from small schools from Louisiana who never had an offer from LSU or any other D1 power 5 programs. Just because a kid is from Louisiana and would love to be at LSU does not mean he should be.

That 23 Class was badly evualated and has underperformed. If it was a few that's normal but it's the majority of the class..so you have to look at who their recruiters/position coaches are. Lack of development has hurt this staff.

Yeah and the games we lost wasn’t because the db played bad couldn’t stop the run. you getting last year mixed up with this year. watch the games only one was USC they gave up 378 but only one TD dump penalties loss that game
