I think he has always been a hard driving recruiter. Now he has the resources and commitment behind him. Not that Ole Miss doesn't have commitment but this is a whole new level of resources. He can get them on campus and walk them out to a 102,000 seat stadium, show off elite facilities, be in a state that has the most NFL talent per capita in the country, serious continuous NIL behind him, etc etc. That has to get him pretty excited and motivated. He knows if Saban, Miles, O won here. He can win here in this environment.
no, he had finished with one winning season by 1 game since he has been here. Alabama is winning, We are in a race to the bottom with OU. He won't be here next season.
He will be fine. He's a rookie no matter what. Give next season and he will be a lot better. By year 3 will be great.
The fan base ckmes back when there starts ti be some belief admin has flipped the script on carrying about the sport.
Brown more about promotion than coaching. Terrible in game coach. Great recruiter.

Time to make a real commitment to the program and get serious.

It’s way past time. Way past. It doesn’t start with NIL. It starts with hiring a coach that shows commitment from the school. Hire a named coach who has had success at a meaningful program. Then commit the resources. Either do it or just cancel the program.
It’s so bad I swtiched to watching curling

re: Does LSU really care about MBB?

This is only true because LSU has not put anything into the program in decades. Start with a top end coach, follow with great recruiting, and then replace the PMAC. And of course we have to have NIL commitment in this day and age. LSU sold out the PMAC throughout the 70’s and 80’s. And in years when we had players like Rudy Macklin, Hi C Carter, Ethan Martin, Chris Jackson, Shaq etc. So the fanbase will come out. But 1-7 in the SEC doesn’t excite anyone year after year. If Indiana can go from worst to first in football, LSU can do the same in basketball. Just like we did after Skip came to baseball. CKM to WBB after the disaster that preceded her. And having a National champion womens gymnastics and a consistent national contender. LSU fan support will be there.
Aikman, Olsen, Daryl Johnston are excellent. Brady still learning and need improvement. Not sure what to think about Romo.
You get more support when the supporters believe in you.
I think we will be good all the way across withe a deep rotation and always fresh. With our schedule next season we depth and just a bunch of dogs than one great player.
Sorry, I think it works now. I saw it live. Unbelievable. Tiger stadium would go insane.

I heard he signed already and played his first game. Had 12 pancake blocks in his first game vs Clemson.
Brutal?
No too bad?
Looks worse than it will be?

I think on paper it looks pretty tough the way it sets up. Not just opponents wise but the way it lays out?
That’ why Kelly isn’t here. His expectations were less than LSU’s expectations. He had know idea what he was getting into.

re: Should we take Womack back???

Hell yes. None of this is personal. Welcome him back. We know what we know now about Kelly. Hell he couldn't even remember the names of some of his players and told players we were recruiting to make an appt to see him.

It's a wonder more didn't bail on him. From a timing standpoint and where the portal is now, we got him out of here just in time. If Kiffin wasn't here, he would now be in Tuscaloosa.
Is that guy even trying ti find a job? Has he been considered for anything?
