Not a good look. Seems like he was drunk or high driving around at almost 3am. It could be that he lost control while speeding. Who knows, hes a young kid, we have all made a mistake or 2 growing up. He needs to make better choices moving forward.

That's a lot of assumptions. Drunk, high, speeding, bad choices, Etc. May all be true. But he also may have been at the facility throwing passes and watching film all night, and fell asleep from working too hard being all he can be. Maybe it was a medical emergency. Maybe a drunk student ran out in front of him . I realize that's a stretch but you know absolutely nothing about this kid or his character. Why start rumors about being drunk, high, speeding, Etc

How does WBRZ already know he is 3rd string behind a guy who has never practiced with the team?

I just love how y’all are so damn negatively opinionated. All they said is the kid hit a tree and wasn’t impaired. How about prayers for his recovery instead of your stupidity? Grow the F up you dumb arse MFers.

You are so emotional. Just because it says impairment was not suspected doesn’t mean shite. He was barely conscious. Quit with the idiotic hysterics.

Read before responding guy! If you had, you would know that alcohol and/or impairment was not the cause. He could have simply made a mistake at the wheel. Regardless of popular belief, accidents do occur without alcohol or drug use being involved!

Yeah, people drive into trees for no reason on small deserted streets at 3 am all the time

It didn't say impairment was not the cause, it said it wasn't suspected. The only way to rule it out would be a blood test. When I was young, I got pulled over a few times for breaking traffic laws while also driving impaired and was ticketed or warned and let go because impairmwnt "wasn't suspected".

IF that was me at 17 and 2:45 am, I PROMISE impairment would be confirmed. "Cheers" to Colin if he was in fact not impaired.

clown statement is to think a 17yo that crashed his car at 245am WAS NOT impaired. he shouldn't have been driving even IF he was sober
