I've never ready any books like that and as a kid I spent a lot of time at library. Is that kind of dialogue in Daniel Steel type books?

Only person other than myself I trust is my mechanic. And he's $110/hr so it's not cheap to get him to do it. I don't want "lube techs" anywhere near something as important as oil or trans fluid.

I was criticized for carpeting my stairs. So far I don't regret it. I wanted quiet, easy and cheap. I can rip it off and put new down in one day for about $100 in materials.
That said, I wouldn't cover up decent wood stairs with carpet. And I don't have inside dogs.

Father had both knees replaced. One 20 years ago and one 5 years ago. The 20year one has been excellent. The 5 year has never been right and now they say it was a defective knee and it will need to be redone.
