I was going to say the turkey probably just got his feathers saturated and was floating around with the wind but then he started hauling arse.
I imagine that's something an alligator dreams of....

re: Where can I get a kumquat tree?
Posted by Turnblad85 on 1/16/25 at 8:05 am
I enjoy them and look forward to them every year. But after I get my fill 3-4 times, I'm done for the year. That leaves 97% on the tree for ammo.
Fyi, don't shoot your nephew with one loaded in a slingshot......there were tears and lots of apologizing....

Thats what frustrating about temps in the mid-20's. Atleast if its going to be in the teens you know what you need to do. With the last freeze I'm pretty sure I wasted a bit of effort on what ended up be...

I'd atleast take it apart enough to see if the rotor will spin freely. If it doesn't then see if the piston is hungup. See it its something obvious. Nothing to lose....
be biblical.
That would be the only way to describe it. I've only experienced 3/8" ice and had to listen to trees/limbs cracking all night. I didn't even ponder what would happen to structures. Steep roofs might fail. Low slope would likely fail....

South Georgia getting up to 1.85" of ice would make every forest in the area look like a cat5 hurricane just went through. If that goofy prediction holds, and obviously it won't, I'd be filling up every gas can/bucket/container/trashbag I could for my generator. Power wouldn't be back for a month. ...

I don't get it. I have a plug-in motion sensor light in my bathroom thats great for not wanting to get blinded and further woken up by the overhead main light.
But a another thing to clean in a very nasty area isn't something I want....
