Former LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady could be returning to the Boot.

According to the SportsBetting.ag, Brady is the favorite to land the New Orleans Saints head coaching job after Dennis Allen was fired on Monday.

The 35-year-old coach was an offensive assistant with the Saints from 2017-2018 under former head coach Sean Payton.

He left New Orleans to join Ed Orgeron's staff at LSU as passing game coordinator & wide receivers coach and helped the Tigers win the National Championship before taking the Carolina Panthers OC job in 2020.

He joined the Buffalo Bills staff as QB coach in 2022, became interim OC in 2023, and took over all full-time OC in 2024.

Then Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson go to the Saints in free agency.

Deion Sanders 33/1 ... This is so freaking stupid! Then again, "Stupid is as Stupid does."

In fairness, he has the same odds as Nick Saban, which is practically zero.

Well, that would be dumb but who cares. Gayle needs to fire Mickey before a coach is selected.

Need to get rid of Loomis first!!! He's a BIG part of the problem. Been around too long and not much to show for it ...

Brady? Not sure I've seen anything special at the NFL level from him to justify a HC position. But then there aren't many quality options at that level so who knows.

The bills are top 5 in ppg. Yea they have Josh Allen but literally no one else. Stephon Diggs is gone. Dalvin cook gone. They are scoring with a bunch of no name players

sure, but that's his only bright spot and he's up for HC consideration? Granted Carolina has been a dumpster fire for years, but he got fired from that role and he's just got the promotion to OC at Buffalo this year. We know he wants to be a HC, but I don't think he's even close to that level yet. he might get one just because there isn't anyone else better.

He’s completely turned around the Bills offense and corrected Josh Allen’s turnover machine tendencies

I do not see this happening unless Brady really likes Carr.

That’s who Scott shoulda made want to be the offensive coordinator again at LSU.

Yeah he would definitely take a college OC job over an NFL HC job

He said from day 1 at LSU he had pro head coach aspirations

I don’t think someone who is a coordinator should be considered to fix all that ails this organization iMO. I guess we shall see what happens with Loomis next.

Yeah, that Sean Payton was a coordinator and did nothing with the team...

Yall the real pick should be Todd Monken, but they won't do it. Look what he did with UGA's offense and then the Raven's offense.
user avatar

Monken is a good coordinator, but I don’t think he’s a great HC candidate

Lots of guys would be successful with the weapons he has

But none were. Look at UGA without Monken, and look at the Ravens pre Monken. Lamar Jackson is on pace for 4230 yards PASSING with 36 TDs to 4 ints. Starting last year his yards per game, yards per attempt, TDs, QBR, and cmp% has skyrocketed.
