Because he is our ONLY reliable bull pen arm. If he starts, who come out to finish his game for us? Pitchers are creatures of habit. Starting a game could mess with his routine. Starting him on Sundays is idiotic to me....

this year he has way over coached. There’s a fine line between hard work and over doing it. At a certain point you have to stop meddling with the line up and let the players get in a groove. You can’t get comfortable with the amount of shuffling from game to game, inning to inning. ...

At the time it didnt feel like a big deal he went into the draft. it feels like now that if he stayed he may have been a nice veteran arm to eat some innings in key spots,...
